  • Being quoted

Is there any notification or any tab in the CP that shows posts where you have been quoted? I can't find any.

Would this be a good addition?

someone complained and ruined it for the rest of us, all it takes is 1 bad apple.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

^ shut up, it was annoying. i don't want to be notified 20 times in a day because people don't have anything better to do with their times than quote me.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

        ^lol

Would it be too complicated to allow someone the ability to edit the types of notifications they get? So you can choose if you want to be notified that you have a new visitor message or you have been quoted etc..?

Sounds like a great feature if it can be selected.

The quote notification idea was trialled not too long back - generating a notification when Members logged in, but in some instances this feature led to a slowing down of site access and this affected the overall user experience.

If you are following a particular thread, the User CP usually does the trick. Doesn't show who's quoted you, mind.
