  • Problems with Pashto font

Hey guys, I've got some problems with the Pashto font being used on this website. Random squares are showing up in the middle of words. Example:

I have no problems with BBC Pashto or Wikipedia Pashto, only this website. Any suggestions?

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

I just installed Google Chrome and it works without problems. Pashto script is showing up correctly. Still having problems with IE9 though. Just weird how it's displaying the Pashto on Wikipedia and BBC correctly but on this website it's not.

                Google Chrome > IE

Can we consider the problem solved?

I don't know why people use IE, it is very harmful. People should sue Microsoft for making it available readily as part of the OS package, thus preventing them from finding something more secure and robust.

IE is crap, total garbage. Use anything but IE. 95% of viruses and malware are directed at exploiting IE vulnerabilities.

I believe a couple of EU nations already sewed them.

                          Mountain Goat,
I noticed the same problem on my IE as well. I removed a few Pashto fonts, and the problem is gone. Just thought I should let you know.
