    What controlled speech? If I really wanted to run things based on my political views, I would have been banning members left and right.     The question is:

    Has staff member ever PMed you guys to ask you not to share your political opinion or how your political opinion is not welcomed here? I mean look at PF, we even have non-Muslims debating, and equally enjoying the rights everybody enjoys. We don't discriminate based on political views. BarakzaiAbdali openly says he is American, and Shehbaz Khan openly says he is Pakistani, both are equal under our rules. Hell, go make a thread about me, I don't have a problem with that either.

    Now the million dollar question is 'when does the staff have a problem'?

    We have a problem when members begin attacking each other, when members begin calling out each others moms, etc. That is simply disgusting, and we do not tolerate such ridiculous behavior. We also don't consider attacking someone, or following someone around as "freedom of speech". Truth be told, we have rules, and we enforce them.

    A bomb blows up in Iran. Post in the World news section. You dislike Karzai, and you want to post your political view. Post in Political talk section, not World News.           No one is restricting you from making threads. You can feel free to make 1343 threads tomorrow. No one will censor you, all we request is for you to post threads where they belong. You were privately, and politely if I may add PMed by PFtech but you decided to make everything public. If we decide to post 100 books or news in our Political talk section, all our meaningful political discussions will be buried.


          Let's use Math here. Discrete Math to be precise.

          Let X be political topics to discuss.
          Let N be news taken from Media outlets.
          Let XF be Political Talk forum.
          Let WN be World News forum.

          I apologize on behalf of the member who dared to insult your parents. Please, pretty please with some cherry on topic, contact me if anybody dares to attack your family. You and I both know things get done, and members get warned. We have hundreds, and sometimes thousands of posts being made on a daily basis. We honestly can't read everything. So if someone insult you PM a staff member.

            it's kind of hard not to follow people when everywhere you look, they happen to be there...it must be love or something...

            unknown, i don't mean to distract you from jotting down your thoughts but you are everywhere. you post threads and you don't even bother to take it further by discussing it with others and you don't want me or anyone else to post anything in there unless they agree with you... what is the point??
