Salaam everyone.
I would like to clarify my reason for joining this site. My family are Pakhtuns from NWFP, and since I grew up in the west, I have unfortunately become very distanced from my family's culture and traditions. So I decided to join this forum as I am interested in, and would like to learn about, Pakhtun/Pashtun language, culture and history. I am very fond of Pashto poetry (well what little of it is translated into English) and have in interest in Middle Eastern History, Mao Tse Tung Thought and Islam.
