Hi, I'm a new member of PF.
As I was looking for some Pashtun poems, I bumped into this page!
As I immediatly noticed, most of the posts are in English. This made me wonder where do the members live? :D

I'll start first, I live in the Netherlands. That's why my English isn't that great. Maybe I will improve my language here.

How did you get on this page?

Only those who have lived here know the real face of the UAE and its locals.

My advice - don't come here. Its an awful, fake country and here's why:

1. All the tall buildings you see were built by slaves from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Philippines, China, etc.

2. You are paid depending on your skin color and nationality.

3. There is no culture and no nature (no real grass or trees except date palm trees) and this is the most materialistic and segregated society. Only the rich are happy here and the rich are Arabs and White people. This is the most racist country and locals will discriminate against you.

4. It is a police state where you cannot have any fun. There are no women's rights and there are certainly no immigrant's rights. If an Arab kills you, he will not face any consequences because he is Arab and you are a lowly "miskeen".

5. There is no freedom of speech/expression and everything is heavily censored. You cannot speak out against anything, you will be silenced and imprisoned for a long time if you speak against the government.

6. The weather is terrible and you cannot walk, breathe or even see in the sun during the daytime.

7. It is extremely expensive. A frozen cheesecake costs £20 at the Dubai mall.

8. There is nothing to do except shop and visit malls.

9. The people (Emirati) are the worst you will ever meet (unless you go to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, etc.).

10. You will never ever be able to get citizenship unless you're Arab.

11. People in the street will misbehave with you as a woman.

12. There are a lot of prostitutes and alcohol and pork in this "Muslim" country. Yet there is no weed anywhere.

13. Men get raped here and most Arab males engage in homosexual activity because all the women are dressed as ninjas.

There are many more reason not to come here but these are the main ones.

Oman is much better than the UAE but its still ****, just like all the other Arabian Gulf countries. I especially hate Saudi Arabia and UAE but they are all bad and you can't be yourself here.

As for your other question, I have been on this site for a very long time, since it started in 2010 and I forgot how I found it.

I guess the country where I live now is way better than.
That they are very nationalistic and see themselfs as supreme, was something I was aware off, yet I didn't expect them to behave like this against their (muslim) brothers and sisters. The prohpet, saalahu aleyhi wa salam, said himself that no Arab is higher than a black or white. And no black or white is higher than a Arab. We are one as humans.
I find it very sad that they opress their community and that there are no certain rights.
Whats really schocking is that if they murder some one, they dont get procecated. They should know that murder is haram.

Number 11,12,13 if you think about it, its something you could predict.

I dont like the Saudies aswell, the way they treat immigrants who work for them is sickening. I've read some articles how they torture and murder women from Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Indonesia. And I just couldn't that that is the country where we go to for our hadj.

Even though most of your points are true.But why this much hate against them?

Very bluntly, I love to smoke weed and there is none in any of these countries. I have no friends/people I know here and no one knows English.

I feel the same way about Singapore or any other country with no weed.

I first came to this region in August 2013 and stayed until October 2013, then I could not take it anymore so I went to Pakistan just to smoke.

Then I went back to Oman and stayed until December 2013.

Then I went to London for Christmas/New Year and in January I came back to this godforsaken region for work because I make a lot of tax free money here doing legit work as compared to the UK.

So now I am here until May. When I make enough money, I will leave this place forever by the end of May insha`Allah and I will never come back, not even for a stopover at Dubai airport.

Honestly, I feel if any place in the world deserved to be bombed, its here.

Any Western secular country is 10 times more Islamic than the UAE or Saudi Arabia. This is pure fact.
If it wasn't for oil they would be begging for crumbs and they know this yet they are still the most arrogant people in the world and their arrogance puts "Master race Aryans" to shame.

UAE and specifially Dubai, is designed to appeal to rich White non-Muslims but otherwise, its the exact same lifestyle and problems you would face in Saudi Arabia.

They don't care about non-Arab Muslims because the prophet was Arab and the Qur`an is in Arabic, which is the superior language, race and culture according to them whereas Pakistanis and others are treated as if they were Hindus or non-Muslims because they don't speak Arabic and if you're not Arab or White here, you are regarded as one who would be fit to be a slave.

I sincerely wish you find a better place to immigrate to.

Oh my God, this is really terrible. I got nauseous watching this video! The way he tortured this man is not human. No reason can justify his response. And the fact that he lets the brother tape this, astagfurillah, may he burn in hell.
