    Assalam everyone ,

    How all fellow pashtun are doing in this forum I just found out about this pashtun forum I rarely join a forum but I joined this forum to know more about my people the pashtun as u can see I am a pashtun from a pashtun family who migrated to Malaysia from Pakistan in 1910 or 1920 . There are few pashtun here in Malaysia if u wiki pashtun u can see in Malaysia there are about 5000 or 6000 pashtun living here .

        The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

          welcome home brother, swabi is a good place but you know it isnt better than my town, my vilage is in mardan so we are neighbours . i hope that you find this "home" entertaining, and informative and i also hope that you be an active member, (not like me :D)
