Yes on my paternal side up until very recently. My mothers side is a whole different ballgame they converted to Christianity in Jordan probably 2 generations ago after missionaries came and I have Muslim relatives on my moms side still, they are nice people though.

So are most Armenians racist like these idiots on that website? I see why they don't like Turks but why Arabs. Especially when there are so many armenians in Egypt we still try to follow the same customs as the Armenian church we even wear the same robes and worship the same way. You would be surprised how many Armenians we have in Egypt or people who have Armo roots.

Well actually the people of the forum you went aren't in no way representative of Armenians but some extrimists with strange supremacist ideas. It may be that we have racists but these people you went to are for sure not representative for Armenian people.
Normally we have good. relations to Arabs and specially to countries like Lebanon and Syria, they did a lot of good to Armenian people. I know also about Armenians in Egypt.
About Armenian church is better not to talk with me, as it is in my eyes the biggest enemy and destructor we ever had, and they do not represent my nation neither my culture but are a kind of blood drinking parasite. the robres they wear for me are to superficial to talk about.
You should perhaps inform on our culture more if you have interest and even some roots of Armenians.

It's not hard to see that only Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan open their doors alot for Armenians. The other Arabs like Saudi Oman Yemen Libya do not want them I don't know why. I still now consider myself Arab because they are all i know no I don't think I will fit with most Armenians I'm too tall and have dark skin and look like Arab maybe even a turk to them! Haaahhaa. Well, I don't say you to reconsider who you feel, i mean to inform yourself better if you are intrested, as it seemed. Actually many of us are tall(me I am about 188cm tall).
Many Turks do not look too different, as they are often of Armenian, Kurdish or Georgian descendant, there are not so many original Tukic people in Turkey. The Azeri people are even less Turkic....
So actually for me it is funny that you say Turks look dark.
However who does interest the skin colour.....?

Salaam ArabGuy. I lived/travelled in the Arab world for many years and so have made some general observations. Amongst Arabs themselves there are the usual conflicts etc. I always felt that it is not up to me to become embroiled in the arguments Arabs had amongst themselves. Brothers will squabble. However when there was an argument between two Arabs and one was an Egyptian, the put-downs have always been very severe. In fact, as it goes whether someone is Jordanian or Emirati, Bahraini or Moroccan etc. they would away the shortcomings of the other as being down to him/her being 'Egyptian'. In the Emirates the biggest disagreements many Pashtuns have are with Egyptians. There is distrust which you are quickly reminded about when in the company of the above.

It's not like I'm black or anything LMFAO. I wonder why Egypt is still called the "Arab Republic of Egypt". Egypt is the first one to jump up and protect Arab states from Israeli aggression and always sends the most troops. Keep in mind my family on my fathers side aren't ethnic Egyptians also. Up until 4 or 5 generations ago we used to live in Armenia or some area close to it and that is our racial background. We fled to Egypt after the Muslim Turks waged an UNHOLY systematic genocide against my people for being Christian and ruined our culture and caused us to leave and go to Arab countries with large Christian communities such as Egypt.
