No, I am a totally new guy. I hope not to repeat the same stuff, but I expect to amuse, annoy & anger some people here in my own special way.

Welcome Tor Gul to Pukhtuns Forums.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Why in particular are you so interested in Pashtun culture?

Some other guy keeps making the same thread as you and says he's American.

I am a true believer in the ideals America was founded, on individual liberty, individual responsibility & self determination. My family is of Scot & Irish background w/ a strong warrior culture in my family. I have strong religious convictions. What I do know of Pashtun culture shows a lot of commonality with my own values. During the war with the Russian khanziruna, I read everything I could find about the brave Afghanan fighting the godless animals. I wanted to go fight but my father thought I was too young (being less than 10 when it started he was probably right). By the time I was old enough, the khanziruna had lost and were leaving.
Still I think the west would do well to regain the Pashtun values of family, religion & individual liberty.

Also I think our ranchers could benefit from the kochi dogs to protect their sheep & cattle from wolves. As our people have become weak from greed & gluttony they have bred most of their dogs to be weak so they could handle them.

You are a man of high morals and I have great respect for the brave Irish.

The last sentence you wrote, Insha`Allah, it will come true.
