Pashtun men are surrounded by Persians in the north and Hindustanis in the south. Both these groups are more educated, more urban and more 'modern' than Pashtuns. When Pashtun men leave their villages and spend time in the cities, they see 'fashionable' Indian and Persian women all the time. After having been "urbanised," they see that they have more in common with these non-Pashtun women than they do with the village or small-town girls that their family would want them to marry. So they tend not to like their more traditional and simple Pashtun women back in their ancestral villages.

It's just an observation and a personal opinion.

That's a pretty good theory, but like Pashtun does not necessarily mean a girl from the village. There are so many of us that grew up in the cities now too.......

to be honest me and other men like me would rather marry a woman who is simple/patient/shy,quiet and housewife type than the one who is confident, lack haya, career oriented, has a big mouth, likes to overpower you or is disrespectful. i know people dont want to hear this, but a lot of men and women raised in west or in a westernized environment, forget their religion and cultural values (positive ones) and think low of their people.

Armenians have done plenty of bad ****. I remember seeing the Azeri refugees from Karabach in Baku in the nineties. No Armenian suffering can justify the expulsion of the Azeri population from Karabach and Armenia, the Lahchin corridor with all its consequences and the occupation of several Azeri rayons adjacent to Karabach. These are warcrimes.. it's as simple as that.
