Press TV: Where does this leave the US hopes of ending the war in Afghanistan and to suppress the opposition they have been facing by the Taliban?

Miraki: The issue is that we have an old saying in Pashtun, Afghan language, that when an ant reaches its death, it develops wings. And it seems to me that the United States has developed wings.

It does not seem to realize the realities and we have been telling the United States government that they are losing and it is about time that they negotiate and the negotiations would also be if they are Afghans because we want in orderly transfer of power, in orderly transfer of power to a temporary administration and thereby after whatever arrangement we decide to take upon, we will do so.

But unfortunately thus far, the State Department has its own ideas; the Pentagon has its own ideas; the White House has its own ideas. This war is totally compartmentalized and they are not serious about peace and that is my own analysis in inquiry that I have done and that report that was being published online, to some extent, it is really valid what it claims.

But the issue is that whether there will be a civil war or so, the likelihood is low because those who collaborated with the United States are in no position to defend their enclave.

Whatever enclave they may hold and ideals or they have no ideals; they have really sold themselves for a few dollars and so when the United States retreats, they will be running with them either to Dubai or other places where they have taken their robberies and the money that they have gotten from the United States and gotten from the banks
