Asalamo Alaikom every body, I am Asif from Faisalabad Pakistan, I am an Ahmadi Muslim, I'm interested in comparative religious discussions, especially the best religion in the world; ISLAM. It was prophesied by the Holy prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیه وسلم that in the latter days the Imam Mahdi will come and he will revive Islam. For example; in the Holy Quran Sora Juma following by the well-know hadis that لو کان الایمان معلقا با لثر یا ، لنا له رجل من ھٰولاء ; Means that "even if the Iman is taken up to the Suraya star it will be the Imam Mahdi Who will bring it back to the Earth. Well, it's getting longer, but I will be pleased to know your views and welcome QUESTIONS regarding this. Waslam.

Thanks to all, I have to admit that people here are so interesting especially people of Afghanistan are very much friendly nice they never say bad words against any sect, so I hope and expect this from every one here too. And one thing more, unfortunately most people do not study Islam esp the Holy Quran so that they get a good knowledge of Islam or probably they don't have interest in it, so that they could discuss such topics instead they excuse and say that we should not talk about religion, or of course silence is the best answer to a fool, but I prefer to make that "fool" understand too, cos he being our brother deserves to understand, but he will never admit that he is really fool, lolz.. Well, thanks again, let's see..

I completely agree. Most of us are more interested in how particular groups of "scholars" define Islam or say we should practice Islam as, so we never actually study it ourselves by looking at more than one side.

You'll understand the part about "silence is the best answer to a fool" once you let yourself be indulged in discussions on Religion, don't worry, lol. They always go in circles, so... but I'm all for learning and sharing knowledge, so I'm absolutely looking forward to that from every member.

As far what I said about people of Afghanistan, I did not mean Mullas or the so called religious scholars because they are of the same nature all over the world. Here I meant the common people, the honest ones. To compare them to people of Pakistan; they will just follow the footsteps of the Mullas just like herd instinct. So that was exactly what I meant.
