back after long time, just got a rejuvenated connection to my pashtun brotheren in Pakistan and felt like conversing with some virtual ones. So, still the same place as before? identity crisis regarding religion, culture, and politics? Same (tired old) interweb fights? Same trolls?

A Pakistani calling himself a Paki? Seems like you haven't changed much. We were looking for you. Since you've know met some real life Pukhtuns, I'm curious as to how this will affect your future posts. Let me guess, you will all of a sudden dismiss us as 'virtual' Pukhtuns, or Mossad agents now? Sta da ratlogo sara jhi khudai pa lar aw bar ke aman rawali.

    Kidding, welcome back.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

good to be back, seems like you haven't change much either. where i live, paki isn't an insult, just an easier way of identifying instead of having to go through the ...stani part. only a racial slur in uk/europe. Now i have blood relations with waziri pashtuns. I started to ask my pashtana "bhabhi" about the constantly harped upon memes among the virtual pashtuns and she looked at me like i was retarded. I thought she was going to be another creature, say like Afghans, but was surprised to see that she was just like any other Pakistani. the only thing resembling "bar" in our conversations was her telling me "bhar jao".
