  • Forgotted to Interduce Myself

    Salamoona
Dear friends i started using the forums without introduction.
I belong from the Khakwani family of Khogyani tribe living in Multan, i am landlord by profession. This is indeed a great forum for us to share our culture and views, i have found precious literature regarding learning Pashto it is helping me a lot.

I would specially like to thank Admin khan for contributing priceless pdf files for learning Pashto and various lessons posted by our respected members.

        Welcome to PF Blue Flower.
How is the social and political status of khakwanis in multan? Those pirs seem to be of highest social status there...
Baba-e-jamburiyat nawabzada nasrulla khan was also a multani pathan, is'nt?

Welcome respected brother to our community.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

The social and political status is great, our Peer khana is Darbar Taunsa Sharif, we are also their maternal uncles, they belong to Jaffir Khuwani tribe of Pakhtun from Darug Balouchistan.
Nawabzada Nasrullah belonged to Babar tribe of Pakhtuns, he was the grandson of Nawab Saifullah Babar of Khangarh just across the Chenab river near Multan.

The Quraishi family is more well off than the Gillani family amongst the pirs.
