  • Asalam'alekum - Open the thread for my long awaited intro :D

23 years old. Born in Logar, Afghanistan, lived 20 years of my life in Peshawar, Pakistan. I'm all sarcasm when I socialize, infact calling it socializing wouldn't be right, lets call it cracking skins. I appear to be a misanthrope but I have ample respect for the genius and intelligent kind. I apologize in advance to all the slow'wits, I kind of don't like them much (My fault that).

I'm a poet (Pashto, English, Urdu), a writer, a photographer, a philosopher and a I have a hobby of confusing the self proclaimed greats. Cutting it short, I'd paste what I wrote in my about me in Facebook.

    "

A confused soul wandering around in multiple dimensions, the threads of good tangled with the bad, the rise of intellect barred by insanity, the flight of free will juggled by the narrow pathways, the series of troubles painted golden by the light at the end, I stare at everything I see, I make decisions that await practice and give up to create more. I despise humanity for multiple reasons and keep room for those worth it, I light the dark with the shades of black and bow to the Almighty for I don't see what I should and I see what I can. I'm a Mortal, just hanging by the threads of life and it's offering, trying to cling onto what I see beyond it.

Hoping to make some intellectual friends here, even the not so intellectuals would do if they're eager to learn.

    I'm an a**hole, am I not?

        Welcome.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

              Welcome to the forums.
              ---
To advise others is an easy matter, the difficulty is accepting advice -- since it is bitter for those who follow their
              own inclinations and desires
              .

Bravo! One should applaud your witty attempt but it is sad that all your enthusiasm and the condescending interest fails to make sense. Here's a staircase for you to climb.

1 - Continue the structure through'out. A blend of Shakespeare'esque blabber and the street slang today is totally flawed.

                      2- Do not make assumptions

3- Learn to respect the ones you don't know, and when you know they deserve your 'super awesome' punchlines, burry them.

I'm trying to figure out how to confuse a baffled juggle of words. I'll get back at you later.

                        Thank you though :D

I already shared a picture, an article and a pashto ghazal where they belong in the threads. I'll try to be an active member here. I've never been to forums before so I'll take my time to get used to it.

                            Thanks for the interest

I have and I will. The interest in Philosophy is nice, but don't get lost in the dark twisted pathways it introduces your mind too.

                              Thanks
