Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

^Same here, I cant be around too much of ignorance and immaturity.

I love this website, It makes me feel home. Knowing the majority here understands what my culture is about has a special feeling, Besides other forums are usually exclusive to a certain nationality, this forum is open to Pashtuns and all other ethnic groups.

^Ive noticed each member has registered 20x and its just annoying with the amount of trolls, subliminal comments towards Pashtuns they have, I think the staff is biased as well. Oh well, now I am here, I love it here and Its great to meet you Ms.Futuredoctor.

i totally agree, and it also seemed that it was mostly Farsiwans and they were very sarcastic towards Pashtuns, i could not see why a Pashtun could join that forum, even though its was an Afghanforum.....oh well, well hope to hear a lot from you as you already have experience in a forum....you said you live in USA, what state?

@ Jodigul, no need to thank anyone :D

Afghanforums is a site dominated by farsiwans or persianized pashtuns.
the number of pashtuns there is amazing.
some how i feel that AFghanforums represent true enviroment of afghanistan.

                            no wrora,
Afghans are not like that, those are western persian afghans pretending to be pashtuns cause they heard from there dad how horrible pashtuns are. Real Afghans are in Afghanistan who are very, very hospitable. I know a few, even in Pekhawar they were very nice. those users do not represent the Afghan(Pashtun) image, delete it from your heard.

                            welcome wrora

Actually i have read and analyzed most of members of AF and i learn the mindset of an educated afghan in west.

i realize a harsh fact that pashtuns across durand are going in opposite directions from each other.
