Another existential statement. Who do we really know? Do we really know our fathers? They are gone 8 hours of the day and we assume they are working? Are they? When our siblings attend university do we really know them when we dont see them? Do they cease to exist out of our presence as we know them? For instance, when Michelle, DJ, and Stephanie are all at school and I at work... do I act like the Danny Tannerzai they know? If not, does Danny Tannerzai cease to exist and enter the ether? Then, it comes down to the fact that all we simple village people know are our mothers... the ever trustworthy, warm womb from which we sprang, always comforting us, and always home with us, always in our presence. But remember, DJ, Michelle, and Steph lost their mother. -
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
