Kayseri is NEAT.

I interviewed Afghans there a long time ago. They were carpet dealers, Uzbeks
as I recall. Also found the Kirghiz out near Van and spoke with them

Bursa with all the early Ottoman mosques and turbiye is fantastic.

Did you visit Sultan Murad II's turbe ?
I really like that place.
