No disrespect taken Khushal Khan ... I've actually read up a potted biography on the man ... but that was my point - AQ Khan, Imran Khan, Shah Rukh Khan - why discriminate the difference?

The part about the Muhajirs and Punjabis is the real funny part. You are correct. There is a person called Babar Ghori. MNA from MQM. The party that kills Pushtuns (both Aghanistani and Pakistani) and still rules without being punsihed. Yet this man Babar calls himself a Pushtun and at other times calls himself a Muhajir.

That's my point. These Pathans are complicit in the prejudice that has led to the destruction and chaos that has become characteristic in the Pashtoon belt. Our interests are not the same. Their loyalties lay not with the rough hill and valley folk. Our language, our culture, our politics do not matter to them.

The real sickening and strange thing is, If Muhajirs and Punjabis say they have Pushtun blood, why do they discriminate?

I would like to disagree with you there, Firstly Afghanistan has a right to be friends with who ever it wants, Pakistanis are in no position to be stating Afghanistan has proven to be Indias friends due to bad leaders, Pakistan on the other hand, has proven to be the boot licker of the West and Communist China throughout its History.

Just because Punjabis and Mojjahirs etc can not get on with their Indic kin in India, doesnt mean we should cutt all ties with India for them, Pashtuns should take their own interests into consideration.

lol Pashto is not my mother tongue in the sense that I grew up learning another language. I picked up Pashto much later on in life (my father is a Pashtun, my mother isn't). So a lot of times when I speak Pashto, people look at me with a smile and that look in their eyes.... and it doesn't help either that our regional dialect is considered "sweet" and "pleasing".

Two thoughts here :

1. No to nuclear weapons, yes to nuclear energy ... what say? Pakistan could so easily solve it's power issues if they had a few brains at the top of the power pyramid.

2. Abdul Qadir - what's the score anyway? Does the state consider him friend or foe and if he did pass on his knowledge etc. wasn't this in compliance with the state? (That is, this was sanctioned by the top?)
