Check out this book. It has a lot on the comparisons between Pashto, Waneci, and Ormuri.

        Shamaar!!!

I just found out something this weekend.

My paternal grandmother was Lamghani speaker. I always thought she was a Farsi zuban Tajik, but she was not. Her family were a group of original people in Laghman. They were Lamghani and Pashai speakers. But I want to find out how the language sounds.....inshallah when i go back, i will let you know right away

And yes, Laghman was originally named Lamghan.

^ Wow, that is so cool, Laila. Thanks a lot for your efforts, and I can't wait to hear what else you find out about it. I'd also like to know what it sounds like and the structure of the language. Please post some sample sentences if you get a chance. Thanks again.

I dont know anyone from my grandmothers family. Whenever i go back for a visit, i have my grandmothers family residing there. I will make sure to ask, and if i can, record them speaking it.

I think, it would be cool to really research on it. I am thinking about minoring in Cultural Anthropolgy, and i think this would be great to look into.

Or, if we do have a member that has studied Anthropology, it would be great for them and for us if he/she looks into this

That is why i am so fascinated about the province of Laghman, just too many ancient history to know
