Some interesting points. One of which: there was never a 100 year contract. It was to be limited to the lifetime of Amir Abdur Rahman Khan only.

Nick, they are not saying anything against Sunnis nor are they saying anything against the Pashtun they are simply laying out what happened. It is pretty interesting.

If you disagree, could you please pin-point the actual points that are misleading?

          Oh no, big no no.

In fact no-one even dears to say anything against Shias, they have all the media, newspapers and printed educational books, its very complicated for Karzai government to even think about this, he would rather convert himselves into a Shia rather saying something against their Believe. Anyways you are right this discussion has nothing to do with Religion, but those individuals are speaking from a shia prospective, from a non-Afghan prospective, forming all the anti-Afghan, anti-Afghan nation, and pro-ISI point of views.

They are not just simply laying out facts. what guys says about Abdur Rahman, Habibullah etc you can go to Afghan profile founded by Agha Khan and other Ismaili and shia sites and they all say it openly, these guys lol in front of Afghan viewers after, make same points but polity and attacking indirectly.

Here I have just re-watch it, and noted some point to a level I remember, I did quoted some but also concluded their final point of views.

a)00:26 The Guy push his Ismaili/Iranian properganda of Khorasan which according to him during Nader Quli and Abdaliate Afghanistan had no identity, but only known as Khorasan
b)B) 00:40 During Ali shar/Dost Mohammad Khan the name that British gives that land a name something like “Afghanistan” and this Ismaili guy swallows his spit knowing that he has identified himselves as Shia LOL
c)00:44 later during abdur Rahman khan in the academic field its finalized as “Afghanistan”
d)00:54 Dost Mohammad Khan was the paternity of the name of “Afghanistan”. LOL funny the way he says it cause Iranians says same thing only difference that this Ismaili mentions Dost mohammad and them Iranians just say “British” was the creator of the name “Afghanistan”! BS
e)D) 01:03 Another Ismaili continues “In the mid 19th century, two superpower came into being English and Russian in the north who divided our real land Khorasan and last thing from Khorasan that was cut was done as what we call “Durand line” Here this guy tries to say that Khorasan was the actual name of Afghanistan that included other side of Border, which makes sense from Arab (Non-Ajami) point of view since they still refer to NWFP/Wazeristani warriors as Warriors of Khorasan. But here sitting in front of all Ajamis (non-arabs) presenting his open view of Khorasan and imposing a foreign name over our nation is BS, this leads into further escalation that our Afghanistan did not exist, and that we came from another planet identified to be located in solar system XV1700 from Galaxy of SBc77KGV which is 120 trillion kilometres or 13.9 light years away Milky Galaxy. Yeah simply because Pashtu language came into being 400 years ago and that before that Afghanistan was Persian speaking LOL. Idiots wasn’t India Persian speakers, wasn’t whole of Turkistan, and whole Turkey and parts of Iraq Persian speakers?
f)At 01:45 this guy somewhat trying to side with ISI’s propaganda which concludes that Durand was already bought, continues he says “He had no rights to sell those ” trying to win hearts of us Afghans by saying that, but then he goes on because..” we gave them no rights to be our kings, but unfortunately we had no power against him” That’s a back stabing into rejecting Abdur Rahman khan. Ok some pasthun didn’t like him, be he doesn’t like him because he is Shia.
The 3rd guy seems to say thing alright, he goes into how Afghans in 1945 rejected Durand and at 03:00 he goes on “How could Abdur Rahman khan make such decision when we was held as slave, was not able to trade with any outsiders, so how does his signature and his agreement represent a free state, voice of people. Which makes sense and I agree.
g)4:44 The Ismaili guy again comes back with another argument of why Durand is no longer ours, according to him the deal between Brits and Rahman Khan the 100 years agreement is false, but it was a deal until death of Amir Rahman khan, if not resolved by prior Amir, therefore 3 years after his death an the Afghan government should of declared war (rise their voice) against British and since his death no-one rise against this case. So here he’s trying to say that we should of take land back then, now since we let go once let go forever.
h)06:35 another ISI supported theory which we don’t know about but some-how every anti-afghan supports that concludes , King Habibullah Khan got extra money and as the next King he did resign the Durand line with British and that it was now final and genuine.

After all if they said anything pro-Afghan would Ismaili post it in their Tajikistani website? I don't think so.
BTW Ariana TV was originally owned by an Afghan Radio owner, but in 2004 it was bought by Shia Ehsan Bayat.
SO Please just because Ehsan Bayat was born in Ghazni and speaks Pashtu doesn’t mean he is Afghan, in root he is non afghan if anything it will be Iranian.

I found some of the things misinformed on their part, like the name Khorasan.

My concern is mainly to do with the actual treaty. Are they correct on that issue? Forget the rest.

              Durand Line Agreement
              (November 12, 1893)

              Agreement between Amir Abdur Rahman Khan, G. C. S. I., and Sir Henry Mortimer Durand, K. C. I. E., C. S. I.

Whereas certain questions have arisen regarding the frontier of Afghanistan on the side of India, and whereas both His Highness the Amir and the Government of India are desirous of settling these questions by friendly understanding, and of fixing the limit of their respective spheres of influence, so that for the future there may be no difference of opinion on the subject between the allied Governments, it is hereby agreed as follows:
              1. The eastern and southern frontier of his Highness's dominions, from Wakhan to the Persian border, shall follow the line shown in the map attached to this agreement.
              2. The Government of India will at no time exercise interference in the territories lying beyond this line on the side of Afghanistan, and His Highness the Amir will at no time exercise interference in the territories lying beyond this line on the side of India.
              3. The British Government thus agrees to His Highness the Amir retaining Asmar and the valley above it, as far as Chanak. His Highness agrees, on the other hand, that he will at no time exercise interference in Swat, Bajaur, or Chitral, including the Arnawai or Bashgal valley. The British Government also agrees to leave to His Highness the Birmal tract as shown in the detailed map already given to his Highness, who relinquishes his claim to the rest of the Waziri country and Dawar. His Highness also relinquishes his claim to Chageh.
              4. The frontier line will hereafter be laid down in detail and demarcated, wherever this may be practicable and desirable, by joint British and Afghan commissioners, whose object will be to arrive by mutual understanding at a boundary which shall adhere with the greatest possible exactness to the line shown in the map attached to this agreement, having due regard to the existing local rights of villages adjoining the frontier.
              5. With reference to the question of Chaman, the Amir withdraws his objection to the new British cantonment and concedes to the British Governmeni the rights purchased by him in the Sirkai Tilerai water. At this part of the frontier the line will be drawn as follows:

From the crest of the Khwaja Amran range near the Psha Kotal, which remains in British territory, the line will run in such a direction as to leave Murgha Chaman and the Sharobo spring to Afghanistan, and to pass half-way between the New Chaman Fort and the Afghan outpost known locally as Lashkar Dand. The line will then pass half-way between the railway station and the hill known as the Mian Baldak, and, turning south-wards, will rejoin the Khwaja Amran range, leaving the Gwasha Post in British territory, and the road to Shorawak to the west and south of Gwasha in Afghanistan. The British Government will not exercise any interference within half a mile of the road.
              6. The above articles of' agreement are regarded by the Government of India and His Highness the Amir of Afghanistan as a full and satisfactory settlement of all the principal differences of opinion which have arisen between them in regard to the frontier; and both the Government of India and His Highness the Amir undertake that any differences of detail, such as those which will have to be considered hereafter by the officers appointed to demarcate the boundary line, shall be settled in a friendly spirit, so as to remove for the future as far as possible all causes of doubt and misunderstanding between the two Governments.
              7. Being fully satisfied of His Highness's goodwill to the British Government, and wishing to see Afghanistan independent and strong, the Government of India will raise no objection to the purchase and import by His Highness of munitions of war, and they will themselves grant him some help in this respect. Further, in order to mark their sense of the friendly spirit in which His Highness the Amir has entered into these negotiations, the Government of India undertake to increase by the sum of six lakhs of rupees a year the subsidy of twelve lakhs now granted to His Highness.
              H. M. Durand,
              Amir Abdur Rahman Khan.
              </B>
              Kabul, November 12, 1893
              ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
British Conventions underline that Agreements, Pacts are for 100 years if not ratified subsequently. Tajikam .com was propagating what the Non-Pashtuns are day dreaming in Afghanistan. This is the double stand of the non pashtuns , whom I do not consider as the long term allies of the Pakhtuns. People living in the fools' paradize, seeing them as the "fellow Afghans" should revisit their utopia .

Well I am glade you find something misinformed, but that's the whole point, if they want to bring up the truth why are they going over something so controversial a name that we don't accept but we respect just like how Greeks respect and knows that Asian people knew their country by the name of Yonan or Unan. So did Arabs and during Turkish rule for 600 years their regions were combined as the name "Yunan"s and until 1960s Turkish acedamic books still used the word Yonan in reference to next door Greece, when Greeks protested, fallowing pro-American Raza Shah's request From now on Persia shell be called Iran the name of their ancestral home in reference to Aryan was this Iran land of Aryana or not, is different story. So what shell we use the word "Persia" a name of its ancient South Western region that was usually the capital. Like Afghanistan into Kabulistan? and always push for the word "Persia" over the name "Iran" isn't that disrespectful? Every Greek I have meet knows what Unan means but I mention it they pretent they don't know, but thought in their own curriculum and English translated books Yonan is mention.

Therefore Every Afghan knows, that Khorasan was the name given during Mohammad (SA) and which is why it was accepted at those times in comparison to ancaint and pre-Islamic Kufari name, that applied to Afghanistan. Khorasan a directional name to the regions from where the Sun rises, was the most edge tip of the world fr rthe Greeks and maybe for Arabs it was same thing after all a common believe in Europe existed until 900 AD that world ended in Kashmir (High mountianous regions).

The preference of that foreign proso-Arabic name over Afghanistan is well known by the nature of those who support this, and that's simply because 20-30% of Afghanistan does not belong to Afghan root. Anything against Majority will be supported by these minorities. Religously in old times Hannifah had one enemy and it was the Western Shia, and the Shia books, teaching and history is all against Afghans. Since 19th century, those book were taken in reference by westerners and English books mostly, and that today its always in media, news and histoy book simply because its against willings of Afghans. At one Shot English lost 16000 soldiers, and besides blame Afghans for Indian's uprise after World War may have forgotten by average Englishman but not by their higher administration. Anyone who doesn't like Afghan will use Persian sources, and Persian sources that I am talking about is not Shahnameh, or Sherazi but rather post Mongolian era, where Shias dominated half of the Asian regions, until 1700s.

That one reason enough for me to iqnore these crackheads. Who they are, what they do, is not importent is what they represent is what counts. To me What the first 4 mins represent is totally anti-Afghan.

My dear if you are going to argue "ok yes maybe few things are wrong but few things are right as well", therefore its acceptable then fine! why not accept "gospel" or Injel? after all maybe verses of Quran does match Gospel so they maybe right, those that mean Injel is acceptable, according to Quran no, its currupt. Same applies to Wikipedia, something i hate the most, and yet most people argue "Its very informitive" but I see 60% anti-Afghan properganda in Wikipedia's Afghan related topics, which is why I reject it all at once, at the time even if it says the truth.

My concern is mainly to do with the actual treaty. Are they correct on that issue? Forget the rest
Actual treaties? Watch the whole thing the treaties they mention are not even found in British documents what treaties unless its hiden by British and some how shared it only with Shias, and not Afghans because its gonna break our hearts or something LOL, these Shias are the only ones who knows about such treaties and spell the properganda all over. SO yeah there maybe hidden treaties but again if it was so hidden does that mean it was by the well of people, or to accept division?

Arn't we forgetting that Afghanistan went to hell with 50 years of political conflicts, and 35 years of War and conflict simply because of Durand line? Durand line is not accepted by the Afghan people, is a fact and political leaders tried to achive people's demand, Durand has divided us, and since rise of Pakistan with the help of westerners we have tried to make friends with Enemies of Westerners (Russia/Germany) and whoever against creation of Pakistan (China/India/France) and hate anyone who supports Pakistan (Saudia Arabia/Iran/England/America).
SO now you tell me Do Afghans accept Durand line, if not why are these Shias always into "Forget it" kinda topics, and present their ISI properganda, mixed with Western BS.

The very fact stands that anyone who calls himself/herself Afghan, knows that Durand means nothing. The stages and people's support during 1945-1980s against Pakistan even up to Najeebullah's era proves that people don't accept these BS drawn lines. This was part of British punishment for lossing two wars with Afghans and lost of 120,000 soldiers from 1820s-1919 with Afghan people, in return they made us suffer for 120 years. Never mind the small continous clashes of Pashtunistan from 1890s-1955, today they are going through that punishment seperatly with Pakistan, God knows until when, they will suffer and continusly seeing their history, fame, and culture underground and their regions officially under banner of Pakistan, with its superior Shia Symbolic picture of British agent Ali Jinnah.
