Finally something beautiful was named after Pashtuns!
macropoda (Pashto: اوبښته ōbəx̌ta, "[a species] which sucks water"), also called juniperus excelsa polycarpos, or the Pashtun juniper (Pashto: پښتني صنوبر), is a species of juniper native to northern and central Balochistan in western Pakistan, and southeastern Afghanistan.

If only safety and security weren't an issue, the natural beauty of Pashtunistan and the hospitality of the people (and other cool things like great local cuisine and some of the world's best hash) would make it one of the most sought-after travel destinations worldwide (like it was in the 60s by Hippies).
