Excerpt from the article ;
Hussain Gul, a resident of Shalozan village in the Kurram tribal region who was then a soldier of the paramilitary Kurram Militia, was part of that force.
"We were there to attack and recapture [the 2,800-metre] Pandu ridge which the Indians had occupied during autumn," he says.
"It was a good victory. We were able to occupy a considerable part of Kashmir but we still lost most of it. It made one feel sad, like when you lose a part of your house,"
His father, who went in with a band of friends to fight during the previous season, "came back defeated".
"They brought back war booty though; gold and some women," he chuckles

Its interesting to note that the Pakistani army officers snatched gold from akhroats which the latter had looted from the state treasuries of Kashmir. And as i had previously suspected, most of these "tribals" were not volunteers but well-trained paramilitary militias of British (Khyber rifles, Kurram militia, Tochi scouts etc). Their looted gold was looted by Pakistan army and they only brought arms, some cattle and some captured Hindu women to their homes. Lol .

You see. This is quite strange and made me have doubts about Pashtunistan.
Turned out alot of these soldiers were Mehuds
and it made me wonder. If they are so anti-paksitani and pro-Pashtunistan , why would they do this ? Why in the name of Pakistan?
and we all know of one certain mehsud (sold*t Am*r) who was a pashtunistan buxter

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

True. These so called paramilitary personnel and the actual volunteers (mercenaries) were led by officers of regular army of newly born Pakistan and they were receiving instructions from these officers , including the instruction of killing of Hindus of Muzafarabad (as retaliation of mass killings of Muslims in Jammu and East Punjab). A large number of Pashtuns died in Kashmir in 1947-48 war, are buried there without graves.....Army Jawans got Nishan-i-haider and medals for doing nothing, while the mercenaries earned notoriety and entire blame of failure in war, which was put on them by the Army officers.....they were deemed so worthless that no army officer bothered to record the exploits of these tribesmen.Originally posted by kunatawar View Postall the blame is put on the "tribal barbarians"
hopefully these retards think twice before helping pakistani state again """"for islam""""
