Title basically says it all but i was wondering if the ghauri cast or whatever are of pashtun origin or not cuz a friend of mine asked me and didnt really have an answer for him.

I know 1 ghauri family who lived in a city in Punjab before moving to Islamabad. They claim to bee Pashtun. They can't speak pashto though.

I have yet to meet a Ghori who speaks Pashto!
The last I met one was a Musical teacher at my school. But he was a christian(those people that were brought by British to spread their religion to Pashtuns but failed).
I don't know why he put a Pashtun name, but also never heard him claim any Pashtun roots.Comment
