Pashtuns persecuting hazaras?

I often read ( and told by some Pakistani shias) that they are hated because of their Mongolian descent , because of the atrocities of Genghis Khan in 13th century.......this is stupid , people in Afghanistan are not carrying history books about 13th century events and hardly any one know what happened in that period. Uzbeks and other turkics have also quite Mongolian features yet they have no such complaints. In fact these Uzbeks , Kazaks etc were the ones who were part of Mongol hordes. While the isolated and obscure Hazaras of central Afghanistan were never recognized as successors of Mongols like Arghuns, Chaughtais, Uzbeks etc

As pointed out by Shamlawar , they were forcibly converted to Shia faith by Safavids in 16th century while the Pashtuns in their empire, who were useful allies against Mughals in the contest for Kandahar, were left alone at that time. Why they are so selective in history, they should also cry about maltreatment at the hands of Safavids who forced their ancestors to step on the names of Hazrat Abu Bakar, Hazrat Umar and Hazrat Ayesha and hanged them on refusal.

If any discrimination or hostility is against Hazaras, its because of their Shia views....and believe me Shias bitch and moan a lot......i had some Turi colleagues and they had this victim mentality from shia angle , and extreme passion and hate like ultra nationalists........Amir Abdur Rahman wanted to centralize Afghanistan and for that he campaigned against every independent chieftaincy and atrocities happens in such expeditions. Hazaras were neither displaced nor forcibly converted to mainstream/proper Islam, yet they are still weeping about it like Karbala event....i can tell hundreds of events in which Pashtun populations and settlements were annihilated and wiped out yet i dont see us moaning and crying about it every day. Its the gandgi of Shiaism which has polluted the minds of Hazaras and even if they are killed for some other reason, they will cry that xyz got killed because of shia background.

While conceding to the fact that Shias are targeted both in Pakistan and Afghanistan because of their faith , and which I condemn on all levels.

But the fact is that these people always portray themselves as victims , and are very organized mentally and practically , have great solidarity among themselves and are utterly loyal to Iran.They have an intense hatred for 'religious' Sunnis .The lengths these people go to defend Bashar al Assad's actions in Syria is unbelievable.
