^^ understatement. I've heard them say **** like they've conquered as far as Kabul, and had it for 100 years.

Not surprised really, sikhism after all is a religion of disgruntled peasant punjabies fed up with their mughal kings, punjabies peasants are known as simple people, punjabies call them paindoos.

And if you look in military history, rajputs have a much greater military history than sikhs, Sikhs had their 50 years in the sun and after that went back into slavery.

Rajputs are the true warrior race of India not some hairy punjabies.

And if any Indians did rule kabul, like the kabul shahis they were rajputs of what is modern day pakistan, basically ancestors of people like raheel shariff and other paksitani rajputs.

Sikhs were fanatics and zealots , very different from traditional warriors like Rajputs of Rajputana.....Just like blind in faith Jihadi is dangerous, so were they......While ethnic communities like Pashtuns were plagued by and prone to in-fights, quarrels and inter-tribal wars, Sikhs were not suffering from it and were very brotherly to each other due to their religious bond. Even though they were inferior to Pashtuns in hardiness, they compensated it by their remarkable display of unity and brotherhood.

Rajputs, the chivalrous warriors of of medieval times, failed to adopt themselves to 18th century warfare and were overshadowed by others. Marathas, who were mostly from lower castes, ruled and bullied upper caste Rajputs in 18th century and the latter were very helpless. They even sent letters to Ahmad Shah Abdali for the possibility of forming an alliance against Marathas, but they did not come into action.

Following is the snippet from Janga-nama, a contemporary source whose author was accompanying Mir Naseer Khan Baloch in Abdali's 1764 campaign against Sikhs. It reveals Sikhs were avoiding battles with Abdali's army most of the times and were killing Muslims and desecrating mosques of Punjab in his absence.......they had no fixed abodes and were roving bands of marauders

Here is snippet from another contemporary source 'Tahmas nama". Najib Khan Yousafzai, the regent and Wazir of Delhi, faced the same situation while dealing with Sikhs

Saharanapur is entrance to Doaba in U.P. If Jalal Khan Orakzai had not repulsed Sikhs, tens of thousands of Indian Muslims of Doaba would have died. Sikhs were always frustrated by the Pashtun/Afghan pockets across Hariyana and Punjab who not only successfully defended their lands but also launched offensives against Sikhs in Punjab. Generally Mughals did not allow Afghan settlements in India but they made some exceptions and allowed them to have settlements in Kasur, Malerkotla, Mau Rashidabad, Shajahanabad , Darbanga etc.....each of these colonies played huge role in the power politics of 18th century.

wrong, Most of Marathas were infect Brahmins such as different Peshwas (Wazirs/Senapati and later Sole Ruler), and Elite class of Military. sivajis and marathas only occupided 1/3rd of maharastra. it was Brahmin peshwas like Great Bajirao who expanded maratha empire. and liberated India from Mughals.

and Ethnic Marathas (-Brahmins) mostly claimed Rajput Ancestor (like Sivaji himself claimed Sisodiya Rajput Ancestry / Maharana Pratap).

siks were loyal allies of Marathas, even fought with them with 15000 strong jat and sikh army in conqurest of North West India. but brockoff when Idiotic Marathas appointed some Beg as Governor of newly conquered territory of Punjab.

Lahore, Multan, Kashmir and other subahs on this side of Attock are under our rule for the most part, and places which have not come under our rule we shall soon bring under us. Ahmad Shah Durrani's son Timur Shah Durrani and Jahan Khan have been pursued by our troops, and their troops completely looted. Both of them have now reached Peshawar with a few broken troops . . . So Ahmad Shah Durrani has returned to Kandahar with some 12-14 thousand broken troops.. Thus all have risen against Ahmad who has lost control over the region. We have decided to extend our rule up to Kandahar.

                completely Agreed.

Rajput mostly saved Hindus of North India since Arabs created their first Empire.

no, Kabul Shahis were Brahmins, and they were Ancestors of Mohayal Brahmin community of Punjab. Just like peshwas were Ancestors of Chitpavan Brahmin community of Maharastra.

Maratha is not a caste but nation consisting of different castes, consisting mostly of low castes but also upper castes like Brahmins. Its "Peshwas" , the prime minsters who were Brahmans, not every other Marathas. Brahmans being Wazirs, was not confined to Marathas but Vijanagra empire and other Hindu dynasties also used to employ Brahmans as ministers...

no, Brahmins are not Marathas. rajputs, Brahmans, Jats, Baniyas, Patels, Gujjars are different Races/Tribes.

a Brahman and Rajput/Jat are not Marathas. it was only Low caste (one of the finest warriors in India) people who created Maratha Identity. Maratha is a collection of warriors who (unfortunately) Belongs to low castes.

Brahmans being Wazirs, was not confined to Marathas but Vijanagra empire
                            what ?

                            [/QUOTE]

almost all of Mauryan empires Generals were Brahmins, like sunga who later Destroyed it and started his own empire to protect India from Greeks.

and later fought against another Brahmin empire satvahans who went to Deccan and conquered. it was Brothers against Brothers.(just like Rajputs and your own Race).

other than that brahmins ruled all over ASEAN and even created Angcorwat temple in Cambodia. beside that, we are only Indic Race that Conquered and Ruled Afghanistan fro 500 years (Brahmin/Kabul shahis)while our own martial Races like Rajputs and Sikhs Failed. (nothing personal bro, you ruled over india as well)

i know that you are on PDF as well. i like reading your posts there.

personally i joined this forum because i see we have many similarity b/w our races.

in fact when ever brahmins founded Kingdoms in India they always patronized sanskrit.

compare Indic Brahmins from other Iranic People Pashtuns

laws of living : Pastunwali - Manusmriti
                            Ethnicity : Pustun - Brahman
Separate DNA structure from rest of people in their Nighbourhood ? : Yes - Yes
                            Language : Paktun - Sanskrit
                            Homeland : Pastunistan/Afghanistan - (Brahmavarta)KAshmir to Punjab-Hariyana.
