What are your thoughts on Ayub Khan?

He moved the capital from Karachi to a newly built city now known as Islamabad, which I think was great.

He also encouraged Pakhtuns to move to Karachi during the economic boom.

What do you guys think of him?

I think this was right decision to move capital from Karachi to Islamabad..He encouraged pakhtuns to to move to karachi and now in Karachi city is of one the major city holding pakthuns ..Most of the Dams has been initiated in his era. Pakistan was far better then many of the nations and even ahead of India at that time.... He always did what he thought better in the light of his own experience

We still are better in alot of fields . India Surpassed our GDP per capita around 2009 that too due to terrorism affecting us . So for 65 years they were behind in per capita terms . While they are still behind in per adult wealth terms .
