by the way how is tajik culturally superior than pashtun? just because they celebrate persian new year? bring it out the best of tajik cultural aspects and compare it will only the pashtun warrior attan which have thousand of varieties of it's own, and it will put the whole tajik culture to shame.

Persian culture beats Pashtun culture in almost every field: architecture, literature, poetry, history, art, celebrations/customs/traditions, even in marcial skills (just compare list of Persian empires and Pashtun empires. We beat you guys and so on.

I know its your culture, you love it and I respect that.

Persian culture beats Pashtun culture in almost every field: architecture, literature, poetry, history, art, food, carpets, celebrations/customs/traditions, even in marcial skills (just compare list of Persian empires and Pashtun empires. We beat you guys and so on.

I know its your culture, you love it and I respect that. I know Persian culture is in decay, but I hope that with Iran gaining momentum that will eventually boost my culture and language once again and Persian civilization/identity will be revived once again.

architecture yes, literature and poetry yes (we are not talking about persian language) art (again it's translate to literature), history (it's not culture) food( give me a list of persian tajik indigenous cuisines not borrowed one) carpet (not a culture but skill, pashtun looked down up artisan people and we have never developed these attributes ) marshal skills (again that's not culture, pashtun are warrior people while Persian are not. only two Persian empire, ruling their own territory / acheminiads, and sassaniad, other were turkic, pashtun have many ).
celebrations/customs/traditions this is what i mean, pashtun indigenous custom and tradition is far superior then persian, and can compete with whole world and alien stuff if they do exist really.

pashtun are not only proud of history, in reality we have not that much greater history, if compared to persian or turkic which will make our history dull. it's also the custom celebration and our traditions that make us proud. another aspect is pashto folklore, of which the tappa the oldest and popular genre. it's the most shining part of our literature. other folklore gene and neemakay, badala, loba, charbetta. pashtun classic literature is not as rich as persian, but our folklore can compete persian

I respect your folklore, brother. There are many things I dislike about Pashtun culture but Pashtuns have one positive side that beats all their shortcomings: manhood. I respect that.

Art and literature are different things, brother. By art I mean miniature, calligraphy, painting, and so on. Rugs are not a skill but rather an art too. And you need to learn more about Persian empires. We beat you there too

About cuisine, well I don't know about Pakistan, but in Afghanistan most of our traditional dishes are Tajiks: Palaw, Abghoosht/Shorwa, Ash, Qabuli, and so on. Qabuli its called Uzbeki for some reason I don't understand but the thing is its a dishes that traces his roots back to the old Achaemenid times.

You have not bothered to go through the list in the link you have posted.......in this list of 'Iranian dynasties' Hotaki and 'Durrani' are also included. Turkic and Kurdish dynasties are also included which has swelled the list.

                            Pashtuns are Iranians aren't they?

That list shows there were more than two Persian empires. That was my entire point. Please, stop twisting everything. This troll-game doesn't suit you.

Pashtuns in medieval and ancient times did not like to have Kings over them, they were republicans and very independent people.....so there is lack of long list of dynasties like in India and Persia whose populations were submissive subjects to the kings and Rajas. Hotaks made the first attempt and they had no kingly authority over the Pashtun tribes....The Durrani empire was also relying on cooperation and volunteer efforts of tribes...Only Amir Abdu Rahman tried to establish a proper authority and rule over Pashtun tribes

So are Tajiks. You are trying to convince us that your people Tajiks are unmatched in every thing but you are posting a list of empires of entire Indo-Iranian people including Pashtuns......In that Wikipedia list only two dynasties are mentioned to be Tajik, Ghurid and Kurt.

Iran is not Tajikstan.........proper Tajiks are people of Panjsher, Badakhshan, Tajikistan etc....tell us about the warriors, poets, artists, kings, architecture, historians of modern day Tajikstan, the heartland of Tajiks.
