Kabulistan is a troll, don't listen to anything he says, he's not Pashtun and he's using White Nationalist racial narrative and trying to impose that on Pashtuns.

If you can trace your Pashtun heritage, you are most likely Pashtun, however bear in mind Pashtun conquerors also had "hamsayas" who were Indics that lived in their vicinity and served them. They often adopted certain Pashtun cultural vestiges like Attan and dress and what not; some even began identifying as a Pashtun tribe. Being a hamsaya has nothing to do with your skin complexion mind you.

Wen had a member here with the screen name Toramana, and he had claimed he was a Yusufzai Pashtun; but he later revealed he was a Paracha, who are not actually tribal Pashtuns but Indics who became hamsaya.

Also, this description of "Mountain Pashtuns" having "blond hair, blue eyes, light skin" as being the original Pashtuns is garbage. Most Pashtuns don't have those traits. Which proves these people aren't the original Pashtuns. The population with the highest incidence of blond hair/fair skin are people of Nuristan, and they are not directly related to Pashtuns.

By the way, Don't show your picture to Kabulistan, it's a trap to steal your picture. Only gay guys ask for another man's picture.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

If we followed that description than none of these Mountain Pashtuns would be Pashtuns.

Brother those are all old men...they have also tanned since birth....but they are Pashtun.

A good amount of Pashtuns are very light...specially Pashtuns from rural and mountain areas...the same holds true for a good amount of rural and mountain Tajiks and Nuristanis ...

Mountain Tajik from Mountain/rural regions (Panjshir):

Original Eastern Iranics looked like this...

In valley regions and big cities both Pashtuns and Tajiks are more pigmented... In Kabul lots of people even look Panjabi...like Bollywood actor Salman Khan type. Which proves original Eastern Iranians were likely light with light hair and light eyes....

Afghans from rural and mountain regions are the purest afghans...

I just googled and if you are Kheshgi then likely pashtun but as they say if you have to ask.... Especially from karachi muhajir background who are known to make fake claims. Babur who conquered Afghanistan brought Kheshgi with them to south asia to fight Lodhis who were pathans. So they were traitors basically from pashtun POV.

That makes no sense; because pigmentation is stimulated by sun exposure; if people are in cities then they're sedentary and indoors more often and would be lighter.

Afghans from rural and mountain regions are the purest afghans...
any genetic data to prove this? Science talks, bull**** walks

                Welcome to the forum

It depends, if you can't speak Pashto and don't follow Pashtun culture, most people will say you are not Pashtun despite having Pashtun ancestors. Its not your fault you ended up far away from Pashtun areas so don't worry too much about being accepted as Pashtun. You can always learn Pashto and some day move back to Pashtuns areas if you want.

this is historically wrong, because the places they were situated was conquered by pashtuns. they were servants on their own land basically.

how much do you know about pashtun from waziristan anyway? people of waziristan may have the highest tendency of having colored eyes in whole world, i would say every two out of five have coloured eyes. almost 90 percent are fairer, they do not have blond but light color hair
