Honestly sikhs claiming persian decent not only sound stupid but blatant lie lol people love to reproject their own insecurities on others. But sure many Pakistanis do claim persian origin, true or not.

Around 50-55% of sikhs are sikhs jatts, 30% dalits aka mazhabhi sikhs. And then other castes like khatri, aroras, tarkhans, rajputs. Non of these castes claim persian origin, its strictly muslim thing especially among shias in Pak punjab. For exemple sikhs in Peshawar and FATA are all from Khatri/arora comunity.

This is inaccurate. A casual google search will help you find lots of sikhs who try to proclaim they have some form of persian heritage (for whatever reason).

It is a Poonjabi/Porkistani thing to claim to be descendants of the invaders of India. So many of them claim that they're descended from "Persians, Afghans, Arabs, Turks".
