^ doesn't matter what the world map says, you guys are not south asian. Even nature is against it, for example South Asia gets Tropical Monsoon rains, Afghanistan doesn't, South Asians are dark tropical people, while Afghans are cold mountainous white people etc... this list goes on and on

The Western, particularly British, media started reporting news from Afghanistan under their South Asia sections only from circa early mid-2000s. This is because the American war on the Taliban and AQ was dominated by Pakistan and Pakistan played the schizophrenic character of both facilitator and saboteur of the American effort. American policy on Afghanistan was thus framed through the discourse of so called "Af-Pak" policy, which from the Pakistani view is linked to their sister fight with India. As such, the political map of Afghanistan at that time was consigned to the dust bin that is South Asia.

After Bush left office the Americans started adopting a different approach to "Af-Pak" by withdrawing the former privilege that Bush had given to Rawalpindi to have its fat, shapeless Punjabi nose poking continually in the internal affairs of Afghanistan. Obama started bombing Pakistan instead and developing Afghan policies that were independent from what Rawalpindi wanted.

With the decline and then withdrawal of Pakistan's privileged position to influence American policy regarding Afghanistan and with the Americans now following very different policies on Afghanistan and Pakistan rather than treating them as one, naturally, Afghanistan has over time lapsed back out of the South Asian political map and is returning back to its natural environment.

brothar, i am not agree all Pashtunse be white people. few Pashtunes are being white. many times ovr Pashtunes brothars have bin conquerad from the central asian. those central asia people make some Pashtunes white but all other many Pashtunes not white peoples.

Because reality has dawned upon them that they indeed are culturally, linguistically, by customs, by their music, their clothes, ...... they are like their enemy the hindu the sikh the indian ..... and try so hard to find any trace of tentative link to make their 'pak' claim by searching for connections to other people
