  • Persian From Paktia?

Abu Said Gardezi was apparently a Persian Historian from Gardez.....

Abu Sa'id Gardezi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gardez is a Persian town in Paktia. Just like Orgun and other areas with a large Tajik population.

Only a non-Pashtun fake Afghan who never visited core areas would be surprised to find out there are non-pashtuns in core areas of Pashtuns.

Just because someone wrote in Farsi doesn't make him Persian. Rumi wrote many books in Arabic and Khushal Khan Khattak also wrote in Farsi, is Khushal khan khattak Persian now?

There are pockets of farsi speakers in all of Afghanistan especially cities, they will become pashtunised over time just like the Hindko speakers of Peshawar.

Another famous Sufi poet is Sanai from Ghazni Afghanistan. He is one of the ealiest and most famous persian poets.

I seriously face palm anytime this poser posts

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Exactly. Tajiks and Pashtuns can be found in every single village of Afghanistan.
Even in Sheberghan there are Pashtuns and in Helmand you can find Tajiks. Pamiris and Nuristanis are based in areas that are named after then, just like Punjabi means someone from Punjab region but Pashtuns and Tajiks can be found everywhere in Afghanistan as they don't have a native land, they were nomadic people so they settled wherever they wanted.

Lots of Tajiks living in Afghanistan (maybe even a majority, especially the mongol-looking Tajiks) emigrated to Afghanistan from Tajikistan after the Russians invaded. However, some Tajiks are native to Afghanistan, but the only reason they immigrated to the large Pashtun cities (Kabul, Ghazni, etc) was because they were poor back in their rural towns.

The Tajiks, who are found in Pashtun belt , are of "hamsaya" status. Pashtuns never practiced slavery, but they did keep subjugates whose role was/is to serve them through various skills. In return for the services, these Karigars etc were allowed to live on their lands. For example all the "hamsaya" and hired tenants in Durrani lands, are people of Tajik roots.

The word 'hamsaya' itself is a broad term. The more proper word for these Tajik subjugates is "Kamasal" and "kamaya" which translates into person of low caste and origin.

You piece of ****, many of you Pashtuns have origins in the Suleiman Mountains. The Tajiks who escaped Soviet persecution did not cause some kind of immense demographic shift like you're pretending they did. Pathetic deceitful fool.

Lol Kabul is a Tajik city, the real Kabulis are Persian-speaking and have much higher IQs than inbred fags like you. And many Pashtuns from Ghazni have Turkic features themselves dude..

Dumb ass, I bet you call Lebanese, Syrians, etc. Arab without any qualms yet the fact that Tajiks are Persian befuddles you.

Gardez is a Tajik city and so are significant parts of Kunar, Khost, Laghman, Logar, etc.

Lol it is well established that Tajiks are the most educated group in Afghanistan and have historically formed the lion's share of Afghanistan's intelligentsia. That is why Kabul, Herat and Badakhshan are the historical centers of intellectual activity in Afghanistan.
