I have read that Pashto scholar Hamish Khalil has written a book in opposition to Qalander's work about authenticity of Pata Khazana by name of "Tol Parsang"......will try to get it.

I have read that Pashto scholar Hamish Khalil has written a book in opposition to Qalander's work about authenticity of Pata Khazana by name of "Tol Parsang"......will try to get it.

It is said that in a poetry gathering where all the prominent poets, critics were present Qalandar saib said that no one tried to answer the question i raised on Pata Khazana. Hamish Khalil was also there he said i gonna defend it. Later he wrote a book named "Pata khazan fel meezan" (with a cross sign on the title), few of his friends told him that it is not a good way to reply to a book, instead you should suggest another name for it. The book was then named as "Tol Parsang", in which he tried to defend Pata Khazana. Mushtaq Majrooh Yousafzai wrote "Haaza Maa Kanaztum" (it is the same treasure you have saved) defending Qalandar saib. Poets in Pakhtunkhwa got divided into two, one group was on Qalandar's side while the other on Hamish. A number of books were published on this issue. The Hamish group rather criticised Qalandar's personality and beliefs rather than defending Habibi & Pata Khazana.

Mushtaq Majrooh Yousafzai's recent work named "Saahu Pukhto" is not about pata Khazana, its about the pashto script(imla). Wherein he has mentioned the all the work done on Pashto script so far, the pros & cons of the present script, the, work of Pir Rokhan, Wazir Gul Muhammad Khan, Qalandar Mohmand & Muntazir Betani etc. It is his research work that was completed in 8 years or so. He has suggested modifications in current script and have mentioned the common mistakes lar o bar pakhtuns do in the script. It is basically a compilation of his 10 Maqalas (thesis).
