Thank you for another great response wror.Originally posted by Loy Afghanistan View PostOf course it is only Pashtun's there. Even in modern times majority of Afghanistan 60-70% are Pashtuns.
No small minorities could ever accomplish a dynasty inside Pashtun soil.
To further and correctly understand history of ancient Ariana and its cities is to check Avesta text's, Rig Veda text specially those paragraphs that is about stories and not religion.
640-900, 1200-1700-1919 and 1979 to present time was the start of decline in Pashtun soil because of the large sum of immigrants we had to shelter inside our noble lands.
It was at this time most of the savage Arabs burned down our thousands of years old libraries and books. Thus much of our TRUE and noble history and some traditions has been forgotten but not entirely LOST! It become orally knowledge, which is kind of sad. YES, after our leaders FREELY choice to join Arab version of ISLAM, they give back some of our books and promised us that we could keep our Pashtun language.
There is an ancient saying in our parts of lands. The quote is older than 8000 years old. When ancient knowledge in our parts of the world was only shared orally, because they said if its written down it will be forgotten much easier, but in the mind it will live forever. Now I truly understand the reflection on what that meant. Before I thought it was stupid.
The arabs did not only wanted to erase Pashtun culture, language and history, they even ambushed and kidnapped innocent Pashtun women and sold them like ISIS do today. When our Pashtun lioness warriors fought the parasite arabs on the battlefields. This, I WILL NEVER FORGET OR FORGIVE in the eternal oncoming future.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would never allow this kind of treachery if he was alive on that time. His mighty dynasty was high jacked by parasites, same parasites we see today, who built whoore houses near Mecca and have infidel bases on Islam's holy lands and has destroyed the name of our religion trough out the world.
I agree the invading arabs tried to erase Pashtun culture but thankfully we kept our Pakhto and Pakhtunwali with us getting islam aswell.
Also I don't think 640-900 was really a decline for Pashtun land we had plenty of dynasties like the Hephtalites, Zunbil, and Kabul Shahan.

I agree The most ancient Pashtun relation was Zorastrianisim, even Zoraster was probably from Ariana and spread the religion from Bakhtar.Originally posted by Loy Afghanistan View PostWith Immigrants they came with their religions. Our Noble Pashtuns was a merciful and understanding people. They let immigrants to live inside Pashtun soil only if they followed Pashtun laws. What they believed in was their own choice.
Pashtuns have been monotheist almost for 4000 years, no one can even come close to believing in only ONE AND TRUE GOD! Some few Pashtuns maybe married others when the silk road was flourishing and changed their religion because of the love to their wife or something, but immigrants or merchants who settled down had different religion.
Zoroastrianism was the biggest region on Pashtun soil. It is much older than Judaism, Hinduism, before that it was a religion that is 7000 years old and known as Mithraism.
The world first civilisations and major scientific knowledge did not start Greece, Arabia, India, Palestine or Mongolia. It was started in Egypt, Ariana (bronze age), Susa, China. And it was these who conquered and with that the knowledge, philosofy and religion spread to the other corners.
Powers come and go, history is even rewritten as we speak.

Sorry for Mahmoud Al-Yemeni (Brown Skinned Wikipedia a.k.a RevolutionThroughReason) trying unsuccessfully to ruin this thread.
Re topic:
1. As I have stated before elsewhere I am no expert on Afghan/Pashtun affairs and find a topic like this very interesting and informative, so thanks to Afghanfootball for starting this beneficial thread which increases our knowledge and awareness.
2. I had never heard of the Shahis before you opened this thread.
All I can say is that just because they may have been Hindus did not mean they were ethnically Indian which is like saying Afghans are Arabs because they practice Islam or Chinese are Indians as they practice Buddhism (an Indian origin faith).
I agree just because they practiced hinduism doesn't mean they are even Hindu.

I got that troll and Smutty both on my ignore list.Originally posted by Bengal_Tiger View PostThis troll (Brown Skinned Wikipedia Savage a.k.a. Ignoring this unashamed liar, bully and troll is indeed a very wise and sensible thing to do as he loves to ruin threads, bully people and sabotage threads by trying to force everyone to respond to him and his nonsense.
There are now 4 active members who have placed this sex-obsessed Arab thug on ignore:
- Bengal_Tiger (myself)
- Kushan Prince
- Loy Afghanistan
- Afghanfootball
Let's all try and make the forum a civilized place for fun and productive discussion by ignoring this sex-mad American maniac.

I agree, these people take too many liberties in associating anything with Pashtun.Originally posted by Azad Pashtunistan View PostBuddhism is still a Dharmic/Indian religion. So I say that the Kabul Shahis were Indics until proven they are Pashtun.
Pashtun are people who have Pashtun, language culture and heredity, .....nothing here indicates they had any of these.

By the way everyone knows you log off to read comments of people you ignore. You aren't fooling anyone. especially when your posts are contextually relevant to things someone you allegedly "ignored" posted about.
And before you call people sex obsessed, Go Fix the huge Prostitution Industry in Bangladesh where even one of your Bengali sisters Poses nude for American advertisements. your women are known as basically skanks to the rest of Asia. No wonder you cling to Pashtuns so badly, your people have NO ghairat.

What Chinese were Buddhist too does that make them indics? I strongly doubt there were enough Indics in Kabulistan to have an Indic dynasty.Originally posted by Azad Pashtunistan View PostBuddhism is still a Dharmic/Indian religion. Yes, sad indeed, stop trying to invent Pashtun history and just focus on what the evidence says, no need to portray people who never called themselves Pashtun as "Pashtun".
And by the way just because you "ignore me" doesn't mean I'm not aware that you log out and read my posts and besides everyone else reads that I've basically blew your claim out of the water. It's ok I know you're scared of me. Many cowards are.
Ok my ARAB SAYYID brother.

Thanks to Afghanfootball and Loy Afghanistan for sharing their valuable opinions and knowledge on this thread, very informative, and for ignoring a certain Arab nationalist with a hatred for Pashtuns and Pashtun identity and culture, a certain Wikipedia fanatic who probably spends 20 hours a day reading Wikipedia.
Ignoring this Arab nationalist Yemeni troll makes life much more peaceful, and threads far more productive for us all.
Re topic:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kabul_ShahiBased on Alberuni's accounts, V. A. Smith speculates that the earlier Shahis were a cadet branch of the Kushanas who ruled both over Kabul and Gandhara until the rise of the Saffarids. H. M. Elliot relates the early Kabul Shahis to the Kators and further connects the Kators with the Kushanas. Charles Frederick Oldham also traces the Kabul Shahi lineage to the Kators—whom he identifies with the Kathas or Takkhas... D. B. Pandey traces the affinities of the early Kabul Shahis to the Hunas.

Map of the Hunas, whom are believed by some to be from where the Shahis originate from.
