According to American political scientists Richard Sisson and Leo E. Rose around 300,000 people were killed on all side including the non-Bengali Biharis, they deny it was a genocide, though it was tragic nonetheless.

During this visit while sitting for dinner, Daud Khan begun to eat like a typical Afghan with his hands and bite off pieces of meat from the bone on his plate. Butto asked in a sarcastic tone, what is it that you feed your dogs in Afghanistan? Daud replied with a smile, Dhal.

        :-)

            A$$ pulled story,Statistics says otherwise

Pakistan Dhal(I mean all sort of pulses) consumption per capita is 6.5kg per person compared to almost 12kg in india

Pakistan meat consumption per capita is 18kg,even though low compared to those in the european countries but again Meat is more expensive and pakistanis are poor.

Pakistan is the third most consumptionable country by Goat meat,9th in the world by beef meat and among the top 20 in chicken meat.

I don't have data available about Dhal/Pulses consumption in Afghanistan though Iran and Pakistan dhal consumption per capita is almost similar

Don't pull things form your posterior if you don't know about anything

NOTE:For all the above of my claim's i can provide valid source's.

              Lala, sources choro.

Most of my livestock, or my family's livestock is sold to Kabuli Pathans via traders from KPK.

These guys are making a joke out of themselves.

Meat is expensive. In Pakistan it is expensive, so how are these Afghans getting meat 24/7?

They are such stupid people. It makes me laugh. Who can eat meat 24/7 and survive? These Afghans call us daal khor, but in reality they are saabzi khor. Like donkeys. LOL

Afghans eat daal, and the real Pashtuns of Afghanistan have no shame of admitting that they do. Daal is a good and cheap food which is high in protein.

There is nothing wrong with daal, but the fact that these Afghans are claiming they eat meat 24/7 is hilarious.

All the ones on this forum do not live in Afghanistan. The ones that do, know that meat is not an option every night. Such primitive thinking is so funny.

I eat daal vegetables and meat. I love to eat meat the most, but again a human must balance their diet.

My family have over 700 dumbas/bakra so I find it funny when an Afghan say that Punjabis do not have access to meat.

I can probably ziba one bakra every week for the rest of my life and eat as much as I want.

These are such childish things the westerners from Afghanistan claim.

Well Punjab per capita is close 17% higher than Pakistan average..Everyone's like meat more if they have money. So punjabis i believe in Pakistan will be having highest per capita of meat consumption compared to Pashtuns, sindhis or baloch.

Everyone's consume dhaal.turkey dhaal per capita consumption is twice of Pakistan,Iran comparable,India twice agian and so does bangladesh.

Do you know the meat consumption in Pakistan count for 7-10% of the world meat consumption growth.I say it again 7% of the world meat consumption Growth.

As per the news,Pakistan Meat consumption will jump from 18kg in 2011 to 39kg by the end of this decade.Pakistan has witnessed 239% Growth rate in meat consumption since 2000.It means by the end of this decade.Pakistan will be ranked with developed countries in meat consumption.

Anyway Meat consumption is not really Good. One should always opt for a balanced diet

The people of Afghanistan might call Pakistanis as dhalkhor or similar though i have never this from soneone from Afghanistan in person. It may be because that Pakistan was part of India and you know majority of the indians are vegeterians so they also consume alot of dhaal. This could be the reason. But i know even the indian muslims per capita of meat consumption will be higher.

Yaar, insaan har waaqt ghosht ney kaa sak tha. As much as I am a fanatic of meat, a person cannot always eat meat. The Pashtun nationalist nerds like to claim that they are big meat eaters, but they don't realize that their muscles are not attributed from protein as much as they are from vegetables.

The nutrients from saabzi are actually benefiting us more than meat in terms of strength.

Diet is something all Pakistanis in my opinion severely lack.

Indeed,Also Pakistani are poor people and meat is expensive aswell.

sabzi is extremely important but we usually don't like it. :D and end up eating the oil from the sabzi with roti :D which again is even more bad.

Pakistanis like most indian muslims were former low caste hindus who were vegetarians. Once Islam reached india they all become Mulsim because Islam offered no caste, so Pakistanis are vegetarians. Dhal is a source of protein and it can be tasty if cooked with spices but dhal is dhal.

                              Dear Jeera-smelling neighbor:

I'm glad you're all eating goat meat instead of Dhal. In 1975 when this story took place, most Pakistanis did not even had Dhal to eat. Thanks to the future war in Afghanistan where you stole the foreign aid from Afghan refugees and managed to farm goats and eat goat curry and smell like goat curry as well... :-)
