Judicial head of Logar province in Afghanistan rapes a 17-y-old girl - YouTube
A judge, judicial head of of the Logar province of Afghanistan rapes a 17-year-old girl, who was in custody for running away from her house.

The judge is Mohammad Qurishi, who is also a Qari of Quran, used his position to enter the room of the girl in women's hostel and using his pistol, forcefully rapes the girl.

Although there were witnesses in the case, but the local court announced him innocent, while in the high court he was convinced to 20 years of prison, it is not clear what will be the decision of the supreme court.

Rape of young girls is very common in Afghanistan and mostly people in position of power are engaged in the crime and immunity is enjoyed by many rapists.

They should have given him life.

people would say that the government is corrupted and unable to punish him but if our people had the proper amount of ghairat, they would show up in front of his door in masses and stone him to death on spot.

why i know someone who is in the habit of doing that..where are the great warriors of islam, the taliban???

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Its hard for the Taliban to get him when he hides behind US soldiers. These people are only doing this because the US is preventing Afghans to bring justice to their country.

This has nothing to do with the taliban. If the government had any ghairat, if Karzai was man enough, they would have done the right thing. except they don't care. weather its the parliment or the president. They are ok with this happening in our country. This is a natural thing. If this was a true islamic country, they would kill all the rapists and murderers, regardless of their position. But this is once again showing that politicians are using islam only to benefit themselves. No wonder the western world thinks Islam is oppressive towards women.

if taliban want us to hold them in higher regards than the us soldiers, they are going to have to work a little for it, okay?? they can't be as useless as them and expect us to start worshiping them because having been born to the same land as us, they have more right over raping it or shedding our blood. if anything, it should be the other way around. if instead of being too occupied with kissing asses of those with the likes of imran khan, they took the initiative to for once in their God damned lives happen to be of some use to the society or make a positive change, they wouldn't need to hold guns over people's necks in order to obey their laws.
when did they do anything good for afghanistan that now the usa is their excuse?? WHEN??
and you make it your moral obligation to always provide excuses for them, okay?? you do that to satisfy your consciousness. leave the rest of us alone.

Meanwhile, the country was being carved up by warlords and criminals. On the brand-new highway connecting Kabul to Kandahar and Herat, built with millions of Washington's dollars, well-organized groups of bandits would regularly terrorize travelers. "[Once], thirty, maybe fifty criminals, some in police uniforms, stopped our bus and shot [out] our windows," Muhammadullah, the owner of a bus company that regularly uses the route, told me. "They searched our vehicle and stole everything from everyone." Criminal syndicates, often with government connections, organized kidnapping sprees in urban centers like the former Taliban stronghold of Kandahar city. Often, those few who were caught would simply be released after the right palms were greased.
Onto this landscape of violence and criminality rode the Taliban again, promising law and order. The exiled leadership, based in Quetta, Pakistan, began reactivating its networks of fighters who had blended into the country's villages. They resurrected relationships with Pashtun tribes. (The insurgents, historically a predominantly Pashtun movement, still have very little influence among other Afghan minority ethnic groups like the Tajiks and Hezaras.) With funds from wealthy Arab donors and training from the ISI, the Pakistani intelligence apparatus, they were able to bring weapons and expertise into Pashtun villages.
In one village after another, they drove out the remaining minority of government sympathizers through intimidation and assassination. Then they won over the majority with promises of security and efficiency. The guerrillas implemented a harsh version of Sharia law, cutting off the hands of thieves and shooting adulterers. They were brutal, but they were also incorruptible. Justice no longer went to the highest bidder. "There's no crime any more, unlike before," said Abdul Halim, who lives in a district under Taliban control.

In a way, I agree with DaZahroJaam, that the taliban haven't really done anything besides SCARE people into doing what they want. They weren't even doing it for their country, they were doing it for themselves. and besides, now, most of them are brainwashed by the leaders into doing what they want done. again, they are misusing islam. But i do agree with Khushal to, because the taliban are on shaky grounds, they have the america on one side, afghanistan on the other. They need to be smart about it. But they need to forget about their own needs and first, find the real meaning of islam and what it means to be a true muslim. The taliban have made many mistakes while in power. If they really are the symbol for Islam in afghanistan, what are they afraid of. The fact that they share the homeland with us, it gives them MORE power to do good. People will actually listen, and a lot of good can happen if they don't threaten everybody with death for the smallest things and especially with no or little witnesses.
