  • Afghan flag in Quetta

  • #2
Its all over in Quetta; 14th August is the most interesting. Anybody with a Pakistani flag is shot by the Baluch nationalists.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

    -Ferishta, 1560–1620

The difference between Afghans and Pakistanis.

We fly the Afghan flag, while they burn ours.

        It's a shame.

The flag of pakistan is the sign of munafeqath.

Afghan Flag hoisted on a pickup truck is hardly news of Afghanistan national solidarity....

Quetta is full of Afghans from Kandahar, mass immigration can change the demographics, I'm not surprised that an Afghan flag was hoisted in Quetta, it's like a Mexican flag being flown in Texas, cause Texas is full of Mexican immigrants.

Once the war is over, i hope the gov deports them.

That's complete BS. Most of the afghan refugees are in neighbouring KPK not balochistan. There are only 500,000 afghan refugees in quetta compared to 2 mill in peshwar.

lmfao only 500,000 in Quetta?500,000 is a HUGE number, especially when you consider the fact that Quetta's population is around 1.5 million, we have about as many Cubans where I'm from, so I'm not surprised to see a Cuban flag, sameway seeing an Afghan flag in Quetta shouldn't be surprising, I have some relatives that live/work in Quetta and they have no problem living there, so it's not like it's uninhabitable for non-Pashtuns.

Quetta is very close to the Afghan border, the official number of Afghans is 500,000, but there are many more illegal immigrants.

You just have to pay the border guards a few rupees and they let you in.
