By blood, we are immersed in love of you.
The youth lose their heads for your sake.
I come to you and my heart finds rest.
Away from you, grief clings to my heart like a snake.
I forget the throne of Delhi
when I remember the mountain tops of my Afghanistan.
If I must choose between the world and you,
I shall not hesitate to claim your barren deserts as my own

          o really
you are becoming more and more like gul agha.
you should join with him because you both are against Afghans and the name Afghanistan.
the only difference is he is a tajokistoni and you are a paki.

you guys both have the same tactics and offcourse no shame.

To the extent i know afghan was word used for pashtuns but till ahmad shah other pashtuns like sher shah and lodhi were not that much of patriotic ones or strong ..sher shah was strong but his reign was merely 5 years .. but ahmad shah when attacked subcontinent his empire included modern pakistan and afghanistan but after his death empire disintegrated and pashtuns from both sides were in one country but other ethnicties became independant so at that time it became afghanistan and after that in 1800s sikhs captured some area and tajiks area was joined in afghanistan so i guess afghanistan was named by son of ahmad shah or maybe it was just a part of durrani empire i.e the pashtun parts were called afghanistan i guess ,... so at the end of 18 century u can say afghanistan name was officially given ..which means maybe durrani by himself or his sons ..bfr that it was called whole empire was called durrani empire bfr disintergration
its just my opinion dnt attack me guys ..

History is a missing a huge chapter on Pashtuns and their origins, the word afghan or a related word may have been used long as long as 3000 years ago

Now a days only "Desified" Pashtuns consider themselves non-Afghan.

But historically it was the self identification for all pashtuns and has commonly been used in pashto poetry. Even in the 1600s Khushal Khan Khattak was using the term Afghan for Pashtuns.
