Language: Urdu, however due to linguistic similarities to Punjabi, many Mohajirs can understand the central Punjabi dialect of Sikhs and Muslims. It is often the case that Punjabi easily overtakes the tongue of Mohajirs who settle in Punjab, contrary to the difficulty to adapt to the language of Sindhis in Sindh.
Culture: Not sure, but easily assimilates in Punjab but no so in other major ethnic communities in pakistan.
Tribal structure:
2 branches, Ashraffiyyah and Naw-Musulman.
Ashraffiyah - Denotes those who's ancestors were muslim during the very early begenning of Islam around 700 AD. Divided between Arab and Non-Arab.
Non-Arabs include descent from Turkic and Iranian peoples, and includes putative pashtoon heritage.
Naw-Musulman - Converted to Islam in a much later time while in the Indian Subcontinent. It is estimated that this is the majority of Mohajir people. By the looks of it, it's predominantly Hindus who converted to Islam from the Kshatriya and/or Brahmin castes.
Over time, the nationhood of Mohajir people is declining, due to mixing with other groups, possibly most to Punjabis, as Punjabis were in the same dialectal
continuum accross northern India before the partition....
The tribal structure of Punjabis is very similar to mohajirs, with a small Ashrafiyyah (Arab and non-arab) minority with the vedic ex-hindu majority.
