  • What ever happened to Buddhism in Afghanistan?

Like it used to be soo huge back in Afghanistan and greater India, but now it's gone.... Hindus, Sikhs remain in Afghanistan, the Kafiristanis got forced converted in the 19th century from their unnamed old religion , jews left Afghanistan and not sure about christainity in Afghanistan except i read there were very few armenians.

Did the islamic emperors selectively tried to abolish buddhism or was it the hindu rulers, or both ? might make sense for Hindus to pacify a competing religion but why the muslim rulers .

people became more stupid and intolerant. muslims of afghanistan can barely stand each other, how would they manage to live peacefully amongst non muslims?? living in afghanistan became impossible for us, how would they enjoy living and being killed for having different religions?? obviously, they will migrate to somewhere more peaceful with no intention of returning.
i heard some hindu afghans claim that they left afghanistan during najeeb's regime and returned around 2002, though..

Budhism is hard to sustain becuase you can't force it on peopel, you can hardly call it a religion becuase they don't really belive in God, if I am correct, I think that maybe the reason why it fanished so quickly, peopel couldn't really relate to it anymore, and Islam was more straightforward, if you think about good and evil and about the reward in after life.....
