  • Was Malaka Afghana real?

Was this so called ancestor of Qais abdur Rashid, ancestor of the Pashtun nation real or just another folklore. I personally don't believe it because it try's to connect us with the israelites. Also is Qais an Afghan name?

the reality of a fact doesn't rely on your preference of it's outcome.

Maybe you could make an effort at doing some research without being biased?

Before modern times when the story suddenly took a dramatic shift, the Israelite past of Pashtuns was accepted as a fact in Pashtun oral tradition, and early scholarly sources (great Jewish rabbis and early foreign historians who documented such things be it from Persia, Assyria, China, or elsewhere). Later on, after the Brits became militarily involved in Afghanistan, many British diplomats and writers wrote about it. However, toward around the 1850's a certain few British scholars began publicly rejecting it in favor of an Aryan theory and that's where it started. The view of historians and anthropologists is that the oral history of a group of people is almost always markedly reliable until intercepted and corrupted by outsiders.

I am also having doubts about Mr. Aryan Sakazai.

You have a point, i believe he was brought since all Arabs descend from Ishmeal and this was made as an effort to make Pashtuns look special. Although i do believe Qais was real.

Qais was mumbo jumbo too... its not feasible that a whole race accepts Islam because one old man makes a trip to what is now KSA and accepts Islam.... the Qais thing is also rooted in the jewish thing too... we are eastern iranic not semetic
