      Most welcome to the forums

I am very curious about the Tareen Pashtuns. I have seen them in Hazara area of Pakistan and all of them including the family of former president of Paksitan Ayub Khan do not speak Pashto. Also one political leader Jahangir Tareen from Punjab also does not speak Pashto. In Balochistan there may be some Tareen Pashtuns who may speak Pashto.

Do you know some Tareens who speak Pashto from Afghanistan and Paksitan? And why other Tareens left speaking Pashto?

Tareens from oruzgan all speak pashto. Some are bilingual; pashto and dari. Tarinkot is considered the heart of tareen qaum, but of course they are scattered all over.

If you follow the above شجره، abdal/awdal, zakhtar, issa, zirak, you end up with brothers popal, barak, alko, masti and ishaq - all under the umbrella qaum saRban! That is new for me. Therefore Barak and popal are descendents of saRban???? Can anyone confirm this?

BTW this isn't a joke is it? Because names of some khails are word plays in pashto/urdu: sahibzai, ferozai, chalakzai and a darzai!!! You better not be some tazik troll saboteur?
