Tweedle Dee and Tweedle dumb getting angsty because they want so desperately to believe the Pashtuns are Jews theory which has already been disproved by science.

I recommend Geno 2.0 since it will identify your maternal and paternal subclade, also your autosomal DNA to see where (geographically) your DNA path is most frequent. On top of that, it will even show how much of your DNA came from extinct hominid speces like Denisovans and Neanderthals.

You can find more info about it here:

Geno 2.0 - Genographic Project Participation and DNA Ancestry Kit - National Geographic Store

If you want a simple mtDNA test, I'd recommend Family Tree's mtFull sequence as this will identify your subclade:

Family Tree DNA - mtDNA Testing

          ---

Good luck and when you get your results, share them here
Lol, through your help I did the dna test for my paternal lineage, whats your opinion on the 2.0 test?

Ill let you know when I get my results. It will show regional affinity of your genes from both maternal and paternal side, as well as your maternal haplogroup.

Maybe I made a mistake somewhere about your mtDNA, but you are a very devious guy writing nonsense in many forums under different user names. When you get your mtDNA tested let us know the result? Your Q1b is not as rare as you make out in India. When more testing is done in India there will be more Q1bs there.

Why don't you check for your matches in India first before heading off to far away places? Any normal person would first look nearer where their family has been living then look elsewhere, but you need to dream of far away places first. Its because you don't look Indian LOL. Talk about inferiority complex.

Other than your claims about yourself nobody tries to make out they are Europeans in India. Different looks don't mean people are not related to each other. Obama does not look Irish or Kenyan. Does that mean he is not related to his Irish grandparents or mother or he is not related to his Kenyan family?

^ Q1b is very rare in India, I know more tests should be done but so far it is only found in 0.04% of the population and mostly muslims I believe, the closes match in India I had was actually a Sikh guy from Amritsar. Some sikhs were muslims before

In Pakistan Q1b is actually found in higher percentage, some in Sindhis and also northern pakistanis including pashtuns. Again the theory is that it is a Turkic marker because Turkic speaking people who spread across Asia from Turkey to North India have the highest percentage of Q1b

also it is you guys who are trying to make yourself look different from other indians, claiming you are european or aryans etc... I never said such a thing about myself

There was a fairly recent mtDNA test of Indian Muslim groups to see if there were correlation more with West Asian and ME groups, or indigenous Indian, and they found that more or less, they were mostly Indian, in both Sunni and Shia groups.

Where would Q be more prevalent in India? I would think more with Rajasthani, Rajput, Mughal, and Pathan groups than for instance Southern or Eastern groups.

From what I read Q is low frequency nearly everywhere in the world including India. In India very few people have had these kinds of test done compared to the size of population. My guess is that more Q people might be found in India if there were more people tested. In India people with Q that I have seen mentioned in forums/blogs have come from different parts of India including Punjab, north, west and also south in Kerala. They seem to be from the "higher" castes. I don't think any of them though have been from the ancient people in India (like Veddoids...).

Q-L245 or Q1b1a is mentioned by someone as being from around India and Pakistan.

I have some links to several blog sites discussing Q. If you would like to read any of them, let me know and I can post them or provide to you.

                    One site says:
A study published in 2004 by Stephen L. Zegura states that, "The mutational age of Q-P36*, the marker defining the entire Q lineage, is 17,700 ± 4,820 years BP". Its original source is the region of the Altay Mountains near the borders of Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and China (Zegura 2004, pp. 164-175).
                    *
Likely due to its origin in Central Asia, haplogroup Q may be found throughout Asia. It has been reported that Q is found in the Altai people, India, Tibet, Pakistan,China, Mongolia,Tuvans, and Uyghurs.
The highest frequencies of Q in Asia are found among the Selkups(~70%) and Kets(~95%), they live in western and middle Siberiaand their populations are small in number, being just under 5,000 and 1,500, respectively.

                    Another says:
Q* among Pashtuns and Tadjiks looks like Q1b-L275 found in north India and some Tatars.
The Hazara Q1b-M378 is not very far from Q1b-L245 found among jews and some westerns.

                    Another:
Haplogroup Q is ancient; the ancestral SNP M242 defines it. There have been many newer branches of Q defined since 242. It is true that one branch colonized the Americas but other branches have migrated into India, the Middle East, and Europe.

I have tested these markers at Ftdna. Kit#19774, Ysearch ID# YX5R3
                    M242+ P36.2+ M346+ L57+ L56+ L529+ L528+ L527+ L232+
                    M378- M3- M25- L55- L54- L53- L213- L191-

I will be testing additional relevant markers when they are discovered and become available for testing.
My ancestry is English with close Y-Dna matches in Scandinavia and distant matches in Central Asia. Our individual migration histories are much more varied than the early statements about Haplogroup Q would indicate.

Q1b was most likely brought by mughal, pashtun or turkic armies that came to india in many high numbers

in pakistan, Sindhis have it also, I wonder how they got it

^ This is true. The Mughals had a high percentage of it since Q1B had been belived to have originated from iner Mongolia near the Altai mountains. Others groups like the Siberians of Russia and native americans carry this halogroup.

I am Punjabi. I have not had any DNA tests done for me but maybe I will do later when I have some more free time.

I looked into the Q haplogroup because Mr Karachi had been harping on and trolling in other forums day and night to Indians that he is "West Eurasian" "pakistani-pashtun" ethnicity "pashtun" etc. etc. Turns out the original Q group were most probably Siberians who looked like Eskimos.

Firstly we dont know that, Q has it's origins in central asia, no one knows what central asia looked like before the mongol invasion, and my paticular hapolgroup is Q1b, which is found most in ashkenazi populations, not Siberians

secondly I never trolled about myself, it was you and your nationalistic indian punjabi gang who was posting pics of the darkest pashtuns to show that they are indians and darker than punjabis, I was only showing the truth that punjabis are more indian looking than pashtuns, pashtuns dont look like indians on average, while punjabis do. You are the real troll
