The Arabs invaded not conquered, there is a difference. You cannot say something is conquered if it is not under your full control. The Afghans have been invaded many times that is fact but who has controlled them?.Originally posted by JattApache View PostWell the british made the borders of afghanistan, and they controlled the foreign policy of afghanistan.
The arabs conquered all afghanistan, it wasn't a graveyard for them.
I respect the Afghans, but you need to stop thinking that you are superior
If we consider khyber pakhtunkhwa , historically and ethnically part of East afghanistan, It was conquered by the british and Pakistanis.
secondly the british ruled parts of southern khyber pukhtunkhwa. Their rule was limited to south of the malakand division. They failed to subdue the malakand yusufzais and failed to hold onto what is todays FATA.
You say you respect us but in the same sentence you try putting us down. make your mind up.

Careful, Alexander the Great conquered and pacified the region; even after his death,it was sufficiently under the thumb to be mentioned in both the Partition of Babylon (323 BC) and Partition of Triparadisus 321 BC), documents drawn up by Alexander's generals dividing his empire between them.Originally posted by AfghanResistance View PostThe Arabs invaded not conquered, there is a difference. The fact that the Indian client king Porus was leading an army to the support of Eumenes against Antingonus in 317 BC, during the wars of the Diadochi, is further indication that Afghanistan was still controlled by Hellenistic satraps, as Porus would have to cross the area to reach Eumenes.
In 1842, British forces defeated an Afghan army and occupied Kabul, destroying all its fortifications and the Central Bazaar (centre of economic activity in the country). However, deciding that Afghanistan was both too dangerous and, more importantly, unprofitable, The East India Company decided to withdraw the British presence from Afghanistan permanently (this is clear from surviving correspondence of the Company with its London offices).Last edited by M17ArnoBaloch; 08-15-2012, 10:34 PM.جی وا ترا بلوچ ، ذندان بلوچ ، کلو واتنییے

No !! It's not in jammu& kashmir region ! It's in north himachal pradesh regionOriginally posted by Karachi View Postonly sultej river seems to be come from main land india, all the rest are coming from kashmir, can't you even see that on your own map? sultej is a very small river
Look closely :
Look in north india, in which region the rivers go :

Btw
Ladakh ( the region north to himachal pradesh ) is not in kashmiri valley, tibetan / pahari people ( budhists and hindus in majority ) are living there.
Only jhelum river ends in kashmir valley so you are wrong..
