Well the british made the borders of afghanistan, and they controlled the foreign policy of afghanistan.

The arabs conquered all afghanistan, it wasn't a graveyard for them.

I respect the Afghans, but you need to stop thinking that you are superior
If we consider khyber pakhtunkhwa , historically and ethnically part of East afghanistan, It was conquered by the british and Pakistanis.

You make a salient point Bharati.

Many diaspora youth misguide some of their energies by viewing our past through a lens tinted with nostalgia/mythology. History is very important but in a practical sense facing today's challenges is perhaps even more so.

What are we doing today to improve our lot?

Well the british made the borders of afghanistan
brits made pakistan , and india as a state .

those borders were not drawed by brits , but the result of a struggle and war . and yes the controlled our foreign policies till 1919 .... and no they didnt let go just easy ...

but its also true that alot of people close eyes to the present and the lack of identification and just repeating like parrotts

on the otherhand one should not forget ones history and take example of great men and leaders and follow their way ...

            1. The early Arab Muslim armies did not carry themselves as invaders/conquerors. They were ideologically spirited in believing themselves merely as conveyors of The Message. Yes, there were wars and battles where an alien power needed to be punished/penalized or where the Muslims themselves were attacked/invaded.

            2. This was not case with the Greeks or the British or the Soviets or now the Americans who did/ do not make any bones about being the occupation forces.

            3. When the first contact took place with the Arabs with what is now Afghanistan, this country or this nation, people were different in identity.

When the Iranian empire was continuously struck by the Muslims invasions in the times of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, so the Iranian ruler Qaisar asked the Muslims, "What is the matter ? When you Arabs used to invade us, you used to loot the country and then went away but this time you are not leaving us just like that and not giving up chasing us" the Muslims told him "First we used to come by our ownself with our own greed but this time we have been sent"
This time, they were carrying a message by the divine power and this power had cleansed the dirt of greed, wealth and other previlliges but their aim was to obey the orders of Allah and his Rasool s.a.w

The answer of your last question is in my username, it shows that you are very intelligent, infact lol !

The british made the " Durrand " line, they controled the foreign policy of Afghanistan.

And there was a user in this forum, named " Graveyard of empires " lol
And many users claimed that Afghanistan was never conquered ....
