Then, I am sorry to say brother, you don't know Afghanistan. In Afghanistan, in Pashtun dominion, those with the will, courage, determination and most importantly the moral justification have always won. The British were strong, they were an empire. The Russians were strong, they were an empire. The Americans are strong, they are an empire. But without will, and the moral justification on their side, they all lost (including the US).

I think you misunderstood what I said.Originally posted by R3SISTANC3 View PostThen, I am sorry to say brother, you don't know Afghanistan. Indeed, as history has shown, and shows even up to this day :
In Afghanistan, Afghans will always win against foreign invaders.
There is no doubt about it.
I was not talking about that.
I was talking about Afghans against Afghans.
Do you claim that among all the people in Afghanistan who wanted power, Talibans won simply because they were the ones with the highest moral justification ?
I don't think so. I am pretty sure there are some muslims who are better than Talibans but are not interested in power because they don't want to die / they wanted the civil war to stop / they wanted the bloodshed to stop. Talibans are not messengers of Allah SWT, of course there are people with higher moral justification than them in Afghanistan but they didn't won because they weren't stronger than the Talibans.

Here is a simple question to explain what I mean :
Do you think that among the 30,000,000 of Afghans, Mullah Omar was the one with the highest moral justification of all of them ?
And that because he was the best out of these 30,000,000 people, he became the most powerful man in Afghanistan ?
Of course not.

By moral justification I meant those fighting the good fight. In the wars against British, Soviet, and America the moral justification is on the side of the freedom fighters and those who are being occupied. In all 3 wars the front lines were on Pashtun dominion. And in all 3 wars it has always been the Pashtun resisting the occupying infidel forces while other Afghans and non-Afghans (Pakistan side) have made treaties to save their behinds. I didn't mean individual morality.
When you don't have the moral justification on your side, your soldiers dont fight hard or believe in the cause. This is where why these people failed because not only did their nations realize how morally bankrupt their "nation building" campaigns were but so did their soldiers.
As for the Taliban, Mullah Omar, and so-called "good" Muslims who choose not to fight, only Allah swt knows whats in their hearts. However I would pick a very bad Muslim who stands up to defend the poor masses than a very good Muslims with his tail between the legs. At the end of the day, if an invader has eyed your sister or daughter for good fun time gang rape later that night with his buddies....who would you pray for..the good highly moral Muslim who doesn't fight...or the very bad Muslim who can protect her by ANY MEANS NECESSARY?

This is a very interesting discussion you raise here.Originally posted by R3SISTANC3 View PostBy moral justification I meant those fighting the good fight. I will not discuss the points I agree with for more clarity.
Now about the moot points :
In my definition of a "highly moral muslim", is included fighting against the invaders but not included fighting for power by any means necessary.
The very structure of these fighting groups is corrupted.
What was the point of publicly wrapping the Prophet's Cloak ?
You can search all day but you will never find a reason for why Mullah Omar did such a thing.
Except because of Pride.
There is absolutely no point in doing this.
The same way, Talibans are not angels, they are just the best fighting group currently but the group in itself is corrupted.
The hierarchical structure of the Talibans as well as the things they did which contradict the Sunnah are more than enough to not support them as a group.
However, the mujahideens among them who joined this group have full legitimacy.
Does "any mean necessary" includes doing things which contradict the Sunnah ?
I know for sure that the people Talibans are fighting against are FAR, FAR worse than the average Taliban.
But I am sorry, any means necessary does not include disobeying to Allah SWT.
Islam is all about rejecting Idols
There is no King except Allah,
There is no Amir except Allah.

Al Hanif brother, I'm not an advocate for the Taliban or any other group. Corruption is part of human nature, part of our nafs. One can say that there was corruption among the companions of the Prophet right after his passing away. That still doesn't take away from their contributions and deeds for Muslims and we still loose no respect for them. They were human and so is every other Muslim that came after them. We can't hold small things like wrapping the cloak or wearing an expensive watch against a persons entire life of deeds and sacrifices. Look at the overall deeds, actions, and character of the individual.

abassinafghan, I prefer men who LOOK LIKE them because they look like the average guy from my village, family, and kin. I don't necessarily prefer men LIKE them. I definitely cant relate to old age men looking like the cousins of Winston Churchill. I dont think that average Afghans are donkeys. This is why it is important to communicate with them on their level because they can see behind all that Pashtun 6000 years diatribe. An average Afghan or Pashtun back home looking at this kaka will just ignore him as another angreez "dog washer" telling us what to do.

I have always spoken what I thought was the truth, regardless of what people think, even if I would lose all my friends because of it, I will continue to speak the truth.Originally posted by R3SISTANC3 View PostAl Hanif brother, I'm not an advocate for the Taliban or any other group. I am not here to please people and I have encountered many problems in the past with close islamists when I said that Libyan fighters were apostates for siding with NATO.
I am not going to pursue this discussion further because it would be extremely dishonest and hypocritical to not criticize things proportionally to their rank.
In other words, I don't want to criticize Talibans more when there are so many other groups who deserve to be criticized a thousand times more.
But again, you know what is my stance on Talibans.

Roara just check Resistances facebook profile and look at his likesOriginally posted by Levanaye Zalmaye View Postlol resistance..
You didn't listen to or respond to a single word that he said. What if he didn't show himself in the video and all we heard was his voice? In any case, it just shows how shallow you are. That aesthetics are more important to you than real substance. How old are you again? IMO, he looks more like Sardar Daud than Winston Churchill. And what about the great Afghan patriot King Amanullah? What would you say about him?
The man has a flag of Afghanistan right next to him and a portrait of Ahmed Shah Baba behind him. He speaks with facts and figures. He speaks with a lot of passion. He is earnest. He is personally gaining nothing from this. He is doing this for you. He is almost reduced to tears towards the end. He is taking the initiative. He is taking time out to promote a most worthy cause. And then moronic ingrates such as yourself (who pose as Pashtuns) try to discredit their worthy efforts by saying, "why he not wear beard and 17th century clothingz, I no like, i m paki slave". What have you ever done?
And what on earth does Khyber TV have anything to do with any of this?
And since you posted his picture, here is something that Bachaa Khan said that applies to you:
هغه قام ډېر بدقسمته وي چې هغوي کښې داسې خلک پېدا شي چې پخپله خو د قام او ملک د خدمت دپاره تيار نه وي او چې څوک پکښې د خدمت دپاره پېدا شي نو هغوي خدمت ته نه پریږدي
"Pakistan Cricket team"
What do you expect.
Forget Churchill
Why don't these Pakistanis speak out about their British father Jinnah.

I watched video for 6 mins then stopped....usual boring stuff....
I do not intend to disrespect this senior gentlemen but resistance wror has raised very interesting point regarding his appearance so i want to comment on it.
Mashal sahab has made good effort of arranging a portrait of ahmed shah baba and afghanistan flag for his video, he should have done little bit more...ywa lungai bey pa sar karray wa..awo special da video la para khkulay ghunde izatmanda spina gira prekhay wa.
I have read posts of resistance, pohay sarray da, pashtano bare che taso dairo na makhta khabartan lari. Like him, i also noticed mashal sahab's "lagharr" face and head with patloon, tie and stuff, unsuitable appearance for a mashar pashtun personality like him.
You guys are over-reacting to resistance's comment because i think most of you guys are cleaved-shaved and wear westren dress in your normal routine, he has actually raised a valid point. For this youtube-limited "great afghanistan movement" to be successful it is essential that mashal sahab give attention to his appearance next time.
In rural pashtun areas, you are supposed to have either moustache or beard if you are adult, clean-shave is considered punjabiano style,. and you have to wear khat pardoog if you live there, patloon, tie and other angraizi stuff would make you tamasha there...in cities you can wear modern dress and have clean shave but most of pashtuns still wear khat pardoog.. Peshawer and quetta are the only cities in pakistan where majority population of all classes wear shalwar kamiz....when prime minister, president or non-pashtun politicians come to our areas and address our masses, why they wear shalwar kamiz and lungai?..
Come to my lakki marwat and visits schools there, teachers and students would be making fun of clean-shaved jinnah and his english dress...
If purpose of this video was to attract attention of fellow westren pashtuns then every thing is o.k but if its aim was to stir "great movement" among us then sorry , it wont work like this.

Most of the westren pashtuns think that making a youtube video about greater afghanistan or against pakistan, punjabis or activity on facebook pages and forums is "contribution"...wekh sho ! .Originally posted by badmash_khel View PostThose who criticize him should get off their fat asses and contribute something. Talk is cheap....
we marwat students organized a free medical camp in lakki this year, this was my contribution to pashtun people of lakki as a student. As a docter i would serve them, this would be my contribution ,thats all. If a pashtun is engineer then he would contribute to his nation through engineering, a police officer would contribute to pashtun nation by maintaing law and order, a teacher would contribute by giving education to children, so on...
If mashal sahab to come to my village and in one corner i am adressing people about currunt load shedding crisis and about our actions/solutions and in other corner he is giving his speech about "punjabistan", "greater afghanistan" and etc...tell me people would listen to which one of us?
Or i am giving speech about demand of passing of gas pipe line through our village and he is demanding freedom of enslaved pashtuns from toraki punjabis in his speech. People would listen to which one?
You westren pashtuns cant be our leaders but you can contribute to pashtun nation in many ways. There was kiliwal of ours who went decades ago to UK, settled there , married a white women, he never payed a single visit to his hometown..few years ago he returned, aged, and with the help of foriegn NGO he established first private school and college for females with quality female staff in lakki marwat and it has also transport system , a revolutionary step as females in our areas are not allowed to walk outside on foot alone. This school is huge success. LZ would confirm it to you if he still has contacts with his relatives in lakki marwat. That kind of contribution i would expect from a westren pashtun.
