Who knows if that greek sculpture is recent or ancient, and who knows, it could have been created by the greeks to show what pashtuns wore back in the day.
    Kausia bruhhhh. It's Greek.

Or maybe your right it's propaganda, but why would they forge something like that for what reason?

Everyone wears modern caps today even greeks. It was an ancient hat no one wears it anymore. The same way you could argue that why don't greeks today wear thousands of years old ancient greek clothing instead of pant shirts? It's because modernity relaces all these. By the way I said 'some' of nuristanis could be greek remnants, 'some'. It's possible. And also not all nuristanis look like Europeans, those are cherry picked pictures on web.
Yeah I've researched it but some Greeks still wear togas which are those long robes with one shoulder showing and that's ancient, so why not the pakol?

As for the shawl thing, it could be nothing more then a coincidence or that Greeks borrowed it from Afghans.

Due to genetic drift, Pashtuns that are unfortunately mixed as a result of their fathers importing slave women are no longer carrying lower cast blood, and are closer to European in culture, language, and genetics.

Good news after all keeping the roots like it was in ancient times.
Thats totaly not true, Afghan/Pashtun culture is total aposite, I live in Europe and even the old European culture is totaly difrent, I don't know how some peopel see the similarities that are just not there.....

We look difrent, culture difrent, language difrent, religion is difrent, the only thing that is the same is that we are all human......

He means Afghans are closer to European people genetic wise then to Indians which is true.

it's not true, where are you getting that from?. While afghans are defiantly not indian, over all they are much closer genetically to Indians then to Europeans, espeically north indians.

Umm no they are not, they are completely different people. Heck Pashtuns are not even similar to other Iranian people like Tajiks or Persians. Brother Karachi, you have to understand that this is something a Hindu nationalist would say just like they say Pashtuns were Hindus before Islam, when in reality they were overwhelmingly Buddhist. No need for discussion with these people.

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

i believe karachi is right, ill look for the sources but i have read that pashtuns are related to northern indians while being closer to tajiks in afghanistan today than any other group.

you have to understand that when i say "related" it is meant in that there is a larger genetic similarity compared to other neighbors, not that we are direct brothers.

no ethnic group magically appears in their native land, people have been mixing and mingling for thousands of years. no people are "pure" and every one is related to their neighbors, some more than others.

Well maybe the north was under Greek influence unlike the south or east. But that still doesn't explain how its a greek hat or why modern greeks don't wear them anymore.

I've read somewhere that the Persians were the most closest related people to North Indians because of them descending from elamites who were proto Dravadian. Honestly this is the first time I am hearing that Pashtuns are related to them but maybe this because of different opinions on this topic.

But I do believe some NI are related to Pashtuns and not the other way around.

Some greeks also were hats like this, its also seen on some of the coins. They are called Peastos.

I do believe this was the signature hat of the Greeks just like Lungee's are the national headgear of the Pashtuns.

Simple observation you need to live in Europe longer. I am not sure what you mean by "look". As a Pashtun I do not look like Turkoman, or Hindu, or Oriental.

Pashtun culture is unique, "Very similar" to ancient Europoid tribal culture, perhaps the only culture outside Brazilian rainforest that is well preserved compared to any modern culture.

Zoroastrianism brought the ancient Aryans together, but it failed to diminish the Neolithic cultural attributes. Iranian culture is close to Pashtun culture except for the recent feminist ideologies.

Humans are not equal, neither by faith, finance, governance, health, fitness, longevity, morality, cultural accomplishment etc..
