Since I was born, the flag and the so called national anthem have changed....let me count.....6 times.
And this current anthem is the stupidest of them all.
Counting all ethnicities even ones that don´t even exist (Bahrawi) is not actually promoting a united nation state because nation states are build upon ONE identity. A patchwork of thousand identities won´t achieve that.
Let´s have a look at Iran where a nation state is functioning (except for the Baluch):
Azeris, Turks, Arabs, Kurds etc. have adopted the Persian identity and the Persian language.
Afghanistan´s rulers failed to implement that by allowing every Tom and Harry to stay Tom and Harry.
i used to think i was a miserable soul. come to think of it, we as afghans have never allowed ourselves a single ounce of happiness in a very long time. every aspect of life must be dissected until every particle of it's faults and negativity has been brought up to the surface. after that, no one tries to bring up a better solution, they just move on to ****ing the next thing they come across.
if you have a better idea for a national anthem then share it. if not then **** off and let me enjoy this. thank you.
and try expanding your level of tolerance for ignorance around you because there is alot more of that around you than you think.
I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.
non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.
National anthems, flags and little symbolic gestures aren´t things I give a flying **** about.
They are the symbols of a nation state to motivate and influence the feelings and emotions of the simple masses.......a crying gold medalist clinging to a flag, a dying soldier wrapped in the tri-colour.....I thought you are smarter than that.
It´s nothing possitive about undermining the Afghan identity by allowing parallel identities to be lived in a nation state at war and on the brink of being the field of civil war once again based on a splitted identity that can be exploited by regional powers.
It´s idiotic to try to stay united by being divided and welcoming others to exploit that momentum of a split identity.
And once again, enjoy your idiotic song. No one asked you not enjoy it.
Thank you.
well smartass, why don't you go out there and put your idea in a four minute song (or a simple video) the way he has and see how much of a revolution against injustice you can bring out in people??
who needs doctors and engineers in afghanistan who have zero sense of bringing it's people together?? you will end up living the rest of your miserable lives in the very west that you all very much claim to resent so much with a boxful of your favorite brand of cereal.
i never claimed to being a smart person but i can spot a no good bull****ter from a mile away. okay?? talk is very very cheap.

Maybe you shouldn´t jump to conclusions, young lady:
1. I never claimed wanting to bring people together who don´t belong together.
2. I do not believe in a so-called "Afghanistan" that is challenged to be AFGHANistan by a large segment of it´s population.
3. I do not have a problem with a Balkanisation of the current central asian area and the establishment of nation states where the inhabitants really identify with what they see on a daily basis.
4. I never claimed that I resent the west. I like the place I live in very much. It´s my second home after Afghanistan.
5. I know that you are not very smart but that´s ok.
6. Talk is cheap for you when you don´t even understand what I am talking about.
7. I am not debating with you because a debate means to win a discussion. I have a dialectical approach towards problems and you are the last person on the surface of this planet that is able to come forward with arguements to find a common ground.
8. Anthems, flags, symbols and everything else are made for people like you who cry about yesterday, feel miserable today and blank out tomorrow.
(Let the problems be sorted out by people who know the tools for solving and have the capacity to understand, locate, formulate and solve them. Untill then, stay save and healthy...and don´t forget to consume!)
