That is one of the most disgusting and oft-perpetuated lie about the Baloch and their leaders.

The truth is that almost all the districts of Balochistan lie under the direct control of the provincial and federal government and not the tribal leaders. The tribal leaders cannot force people to not send their kids to school. It is, in fact, the government in Islamabad that has left the Baloch uneducated by draining their land of its resources and giving them peanuts in return. The fact is that the Baloch are so deprived that in most cases, they cannot afford to send their children to school. The rural Baloch are amongst the most wretched people on earth.

It is because they apparently (Baloch) came from Mesopotamia (current Iraq) centuries ago. Their traditional dresses are also similar to the Assyrian ones as I remember.

I have seen on pictures many Baloch that look quiet more Dark than Arabs, more like ethiopian with curley hair and also some very clear Baloch, looking like persians.
          They all look so different.
I think Baloch included Genetically very different groups.
There was once an article I read by n Armenian Iranist, he was researching the differences between Baloch and Pashtuns, and Balochized Pashtuns.
He stated That Pashtuns are a tribal society with strict ruels and a strict tibal system based on Pashtun descendant while Baloch peoples are more free in this sense, they do not follow so much descendant and easily include Pashtuns, Brahvis and even the farest foreigner inside their group as long as he follows Baloch identity.
He stated that being Pashtun is very much related to origin and to being Pashtun following the Pashtuns lifestyle but being Baloch is mor liberal without such a strict elder system, and not based ot origins so that Baloch included and include recently many non-Baloch peoples.
Further he told that some Pashtuns , for some social reasons finding difficulties to stay with their tribe joined some Baloch groups, that didn't care so much to their social problems.

Please do not judge my opinion, as I have no opinion on that subject, I only stated what I read , so it is on You to comment it(unfortunately I cannot post the riginal article).
I do not want to offend anybody but only stated that I read this kind of article.

You are right, baloch accepts any one who wants to be with them..in past bugtis and maris accepted numerous pashtun outlaws and as bandits they used to attack south punjab for loot...coastal balochs are negroid and are non-tribal while balochs of ko sulieman who live near pashtuns are tribal and are close to pashtuns in life style.
Pashtuns are conservative and practical muslims, balochs are weak in the religion.

luffy keep your ali jinah napaki propaganda for your self , the only ones who are weak are the people like you how ,let exist statues of ali jinah and other kafisr exist in your napak soil , and do shirk at them by lying down flowers and other decoration at them .

or erecting momunents for them hanging high their pictures , and the most tragice thing is , those people were ismael shia kafirs fled from iran , driven out of afghanistan and finally landed in india working for the angress .

balochs are very sweet and good people , and your pashtun is no better in education he is kept by isi mullah backward ,telling him that he and his kids dont need school , thats not important . that are your pashtuns !!! otherwise pashtunistan must be full of phds and professors .

i have never seen balochs gambling or attending sakbazi , in general they are not so luchak like we are .

besides , how does it come that pashtunistan and balochistan are the poorest and most underdevelopt parts of the frankenstein state napakistan ? if the flourish if people get educated they see what is done to them and then you can not fool them by cheap muslim muslim talk.

just like luffy did by calling them weak in deen . luffy when was the last time you did shirk to ali jinah ? or zia ul haq ? or iqbal ? i mean pakistan is full of mujazeme of this kafirs , let alone mujazime also pictures .

i think we must also blow up those , its kufr and shirk , i as a pious muselman as a mumineen can not accept that shirk is commited in a muslim country .

                            I don't think there's much of a difference.

Here's the data from the 1998 census:

                            PAKISTAN - CENSUS

Scroll down to Balochistan and ctrl+f "literacy". It averages at around 20%.

Baloch put us Pashtuns into Shame in regards to unity and political activity. When a Baloch activist is murdered by ISI, the whole Baloch nation protests, you will see in London,America, Canada Baloch activists protesting against the Pakistani government over the murder of their loved ones.

The Baloch Nationalists are currently fighting for their own people through the BLA Baloch Liberation Army, they are educated and progressive politicians and not Islamists.

When a Pashtun kid is killed by Pakistan army bombardment or when a crazy Talib blows himself up, none of our people even give a dame, we only look to our own tribes instead of our own Nation.

We distrust eachother and fight amongst ourselves over control of provinces and lands while the Baloch stand united against any aggressor.

They love education, and given the chance they send their children to be educated, even the rural Baloch are keen on education of their children, unlike our people who send their children to unregistered unknown Madrassahs who turn them into self hating lunatics who promote middle age ideologies upon their own people.

I give the Baloch the up most highest respect and wish them the best, sadly our people can never be compared to the Baloch unless we adapt their ways in regards to politically motiviating our masses on the right direction.

The Baloch dont run to Arab countries for riches to be used on their own people and then become proxies of the ISI and Pak military establishment.

The first Baluchi people I recall knowing were Arabic speakers with Arab nationalities , I only knew later that they originally came from somewhere else . One of my best friends is from The UAE with Baluchi origins .

I have noticed that Baluchi people in the UAE stick together and have a sense of belonging to each others, and some or maybe most or all are still in touch with their relatives accross the gulf, but I don't know yet if they differentiate among themselves depending on their tribes or families .
