        1. What does the existence of a statue have anything to do with dying children?

        2. The UN Embargo was imposed because the Taliban regime harboured the group that committed the bomb attacks against the American Embassies in Kenia and Tanzania.

        3. The Organisation that wanted to save the statues was Japanese and had nothing to do with the UN or the regimes who had imposed that embargo.

        4. What did the Taliban regime achieve by destroying the statue?
        The only constant is change.

the budha existed before and no one harmed it(even if my opinion is it shouldnt have been destroyd),what triggered it was the islamic conviction fo people whos children were dying.

          2. The UN Embargo was imposed because the Taliban regime harboured the group that committed the bomb attacks against the American Embassies in Kenia and Tanzania.
that utter non sense.there is no evidence and no one gave evidence for this ,instead they attacked Afghaistan with cruise missiles.

          3. The Organisation that wanted to save the statues was Japanese and had nothing to do with the UN or the regimes who had imposed that embargo.
It wouldnt make any difference. What made them think it was necessary to restore the budha(Afghan history)while ignoring and killing Afghan children. If you knew anything about Afghanistan you would knwo this was beyond provocation.

          4. What did the Taliban regime achieve by destroying the statue?
They exposed the twofaced people who are supporting the death of living breathing human beings and care aboout a non living statue.

btw Budha was against statues as well

I agree, the character of the Christian and Jewish god Yahweh is very different to Allah. This is because they aren't the same deity.
Muslims and Jews believe in one God. Muslims say Allah(swt), and Jews say Yahweh (or Ellohum).

Christians on the other hand believe in a man, a prophet of Allah(swt), and astagfurillah call him the Lord. They say Prophet Jesus(pbuh) is in fact God, Astagfurillah.

They also make their God composed of 3 others (The father, the son, and the holy ghost). SOme Christians also believe in Mary as a Goddess.

SO Christianity is a polytheistic faith.

Yeah, Christianity is pure polytheism. If the polytheistic trinity isn't bad enough, they also worship and pray to relics, symbols, statues, paintings and bones and hair from their decreased holy men.

What's really ironic is that Christians believe in both the Old Testament (Torah) and the New Testament (Bible). Now the Yahweh of one of them is a genocidal maniac who encourages senseless slaughter, rape and all sorts of imaginable depravity. In fact, the Old Testament, as it is today, is the most immoral piece of literature ever conceived by man, far more depraved than the Kamasutra. I wonder how Christians believe that the author of both books is the same entity. The Christian gods are therefore also suffering from bi-polar disorder.

Also, unlike Muslims, Jews were not always monotheistic. Judaism was an idol-worshiping and polytheistic religion well until the the Assyrian and Persian invasions of the 7-8th centuries BC. These Zionists have dug up half of Jerusalem trying to justify the colonization of Palestine by these European Ashkenazis and Turkish Khazars but all they've managed to do is dig up the idols of the naked gods and goddesses that their ancestors worshiped there.

It is part of their past and they don´t wanna get rid of it because it´s from ancient and pre-islamic times.

It is a pain killer in my mind otherwise the Islamic logic of the Taliban wouldn´t consider those statues as something to be bothered by.

I wasnt arguing in favor of destroying the Buddha statues, in fact it was a massive waste of time.

My contention was with your premise.

You will be pleased to learn that, I have received a warning for being rude and insensitive.

Which I might add is typical Muslim hypocrisy! As if any one so much as says boo to you poor fragile little darlings, then you start crying and throwing sissy fits. Whilst crushing all dissent isn't the way to correct your innumerable shortcomings. I am sorry if I was insensitive and I apologise for reffering to Muslims as "death cultists". However lets face it their is no such thing as a so-called 'modrate Muslim', so I not inclined to be repentant.
I'm not "pleased" to learn that because it demonstrates to me that my fellow Muslims are not intellectually capable to face challenges. However that doesn't mean Muslims don't exist who can't. And I'm definitely one of those who can.

You're right the character of Yahweh is different than Allah(swt), Yahweh is very humanoid, temporal, he required egregious sacrifices to be appeased, he was impulsive, fickle, unstable, moody the Canaanite Legends regarding Yahweh indicate he was impotent and aging, similar to the Greek Deity Chronos. He had all the failings of a human being right down to greed and resentment. According to Biblical Historians the Bible accounts that the different names Emphasized ranging from El to Yahweh indicate that Judaism as we know it was probably a synthesis of several cults into one. The Cult of El and Cult of Yahweh as well as the Cult of Ba'al. They are very much not the same deity at all; which can only mean that the proclaimed Deity of Moses or Jesus or Abraham could never have been Yahweh

Indeed, Abrahamic references in the Bible constantly refer to Eloha or the royal plural Elohim, which is the standard Semitic Cognate for Divinity; Yahweh is not originally mentioned in context with Abraham. Allah as one can obviously tell is really a variation on Eloha; and it's not coincidental they sound similar they; mean precisely the same thing. I find it ironic when Christians attempt to use the "Moon-God" argument or claim Muslims worship the black stone, yet they embrace a Deity from the Canaanite Pantheon, who's name has nothing to do with the concept of Divinity, while Allah (swt) does while at the same time they believe in a God-incarnate, an explicitly Pagan Theological Concept.

Christians can reference the Old Testament. However they are only bound by the New. Christians aren't anything like Jews and Jews have other books such as the Nevi'im.

The trinity isn't polytheistic, as the trinity represents three aspects or manifestations of the same god. Why do you think that God can't manifest himself as a angel/spirit, man or some other form, such as a burning bush?

Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Exodus 3:2 There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. 3 So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.” 4When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.”
Whilst blessed relics, and building such as Churches can have sacred significance and be deemed Holy. Christians don't pray to idols or relics as such.

What are they doing? By your flawed logic, the black stone is the most worshipped object in the entire world.

As for the Ashkenazis Jews they aren't Europeans. Even if around half of their ancestry is Hellenic. Near Eastern and indigenous Europeans peoples are distantly related. The Jews admixture rate in the US is 50% (which is a joke) and the Jews are a ethnoreligious group and not just a race.

Because that's exactly what Polytheists believe; Hindus claim the exact same thing, that the many "incarnations" are just all forms of one being. Even then if we take the Trinitarian doctrine on face value; It's three "manifestations' or as Evangelicals like to put it, Three Persons, which means three different distinct identities, shows that they are three beings. Not one being. hence polytheism all over again.

Not at all, we pray "towards" the black stone not TO The Black Stone; unlike Christians, Muslims don't identify the black stone as deity, where as you identify Jesus as deity. We dont praise the Black Stone as Deity, you praise Jesus and physical replicas of Jesus as embodying the "spirit" of the deity.

Jews are canaanites and ebiomites and a mish mash of other races, religions and ethnicities that colluded over time.

Whilst Yahweh naturally has the distinction of being the god of the mythical Israelites. In the Canaanite Pantheon El had sons and daugthers. Asherah, Baal, Anath, Dagon, and other gods temples existed along side the worship of Yahweh and the Canaanites where seemingly fairly secular. lol

In much the same way that as Christianity, adopted certain pre-Christian Pagan aspects, such as Easter, which was originally a pagan spring equinox festival. Islam is also rich in pre-Islamic Pagan mythology and practises. Which is why for example the Islamic calendar governing Ramadan is based on the lunar cycle.

2:189 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the new moons. Say, "They are measurements of time for the people and for Hajj."

Muhammad as I'm sure know promoted Allah, over the other gods at the Ka'bah pantheon. However his character/archetype did not alter and he is still in many respects the same deity.

At one time the pre-Islamic Pagan Allah had three daughters, al-Lat, al-Uzza and Manat, who made intercession for him. Allah being a moon god and his daughters stars/planets. Indeed it's my understanding that Al-Lat is associated with Venus and is the same godess as Aphrodite/Ishtar.

The Ka'bah is accurately aligned to track the cycles of the moon and the rising of Canopus, the brightest star after Sirius. However from what I can gather it was adapted to accommodate Sirius. This triple goddess construct is found in both Semitic and Indo-European mythological traditions. So I'd say that it's very ancient indeed. Writing developed in the Near East which is part of the reson why so many mythological traditions are borrowed from the very ancient world.

Hence the original Near Eastern/Arabian, astral pantheon was likely a solar and luna deity and a triple goddess. The solar deity ruling alone during the day. Whilst the luna and triple goddesses (the planet Venus and two stars Sirius, Canopus) emerging at night.

53:49 "And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius" - Surat An-Najm (
                        The Star)

The Sumerian pantheon is also intresting.

He is commonly designated as En-zu, which means "lord of wisdom". During the period (c.2600-2400 BC) that Ur exercised a large measure of supremacy over the Euphrates valley, Sin was naturally regarded as the head of the pantheon. It is to this period that we must trace such designations of Sin as "father of the gods", "chief of the gods", "creator of all things", and the like. The "wisdom" personified by the moon-god is likewise an expression of the science of astrology, in which the observation of the moon's phases is an important factor.

His wife was Ningal ("Great Lady"), who bore him Utu/Shamash ("Sun") and Inanna/Ishtar (the goddess of the planet Venus). The tendency to centralize the powers of the universe leads to the establishment of the doctrine of a triad consisting of Sin/Nanna and his children.

Sin had a beard made of lapis lazuli and rode on a winged bull. The bull was one of his symbols, through his father, Enlil, "Bull of Heaven", along with the crescent and the tripod (which may be a lamp-stand). On cylinder seals, he is represented as an old man with a flowing beard and the crescent symbol. In the astral-theological system he is represented by the number 30 and the moon. This number probably refers to the average number of days (correctly around 29.53) in a lunar month, as measured between successive new moons.
                        ...

The Moon God idea has been somewhat exaggerated by Christian Evangelicals. The word Allah itself simply means "The Divine" or sometimes in English "The God". If we examine things from an etymological perspective the claim or association of Allah(swt) being a particular type of celestially associated deity falls short. So the argument that Muhammad(saw) was particularly choosing "Allah(swt) over other equally plausible deities in some preferential treatment is also pretty groundless. The Argument for Allah(swt) can be deduced by the representation of the name itself having exclusive reference for an Absolute Deity, not a moon deity or power presiding over celestial spheres. But a Transcendental Being which isn't assigned a specific office. Thus if this claim had authenticated fact to support it, it would have been based specifically on the case for a specialized deity . Hence the Allah(swt) wasnt't chosen because Muhammad(saw) had a particular fondness for a certain deity over another; but because the name Allah(swt) itself denote the Only Absolute and Complete Deity and thus by principle would not have any place for other deities who would thus be rendered false. Therefore a Monotheistic Theological Underpinning is what lead to the purging of idols nd the extolling of Allah (swt) The rest is just Christian and Orientalist Tabloid sensationalism.

The Use of Lunar Cycles as a measure of time is simply that , the use of Lunar Cycles of Time; one cannot extrapolate any other subcontext of Moon Worship from it, since it is true lunar cycles were good for measuring periods.

The "Lord of Sirius" has almost nothing to do with any deity worshiip; Everyone knows that in the ancient world Sirius was used as a signifying cycles and seasons as well as navagational uses. The claims used to associate that with deity worship...is purely interpolation -----no smoking gun

from an Afghan an muslim perspective that is the lowest someone can get giving an idol more attention than dying kids.
see, you've done it again. trying to change my comment to fit your agenda/paranoia, so you can criticise me you are doing this too often and not just to me.
