if calling names to jinah or pakistan bring any good to pashtuns and unity lets start with one vioce and do it but it is waste of time and will only harm your mind not others.
This is so sick to use this kind of language everywhere.
If syed akbar killed laiqat ali for the good of pashtuns then he is our hero but if it is for money then he is not our hero.
As far as i know laiqat ali was killed by pak army and syed akbar was hired for that.
Even jinah was killed by pak army with british conection.
During his last movement jinah regret why he created pakistan and therefore he was killed.
pakistan was created by the westreners and the poor muslims including pashtuns suffering in this country.
It was created for the westren puposes and so far pakistani govt is serving well its westreners masters.
we pashtuns should do something positive for our people.
laiqat ali can go to hell who care.

Forget this blaming the Afghan kings not doing anything or selling his people. The afghan kings fought against the British. It was the KP pashtuns that refused to join the Afghan kings much like today, the KP pashtuns refuse to join Afghanistan. The afghan kings at least prevented the destruction of Afghanistan, the destruction of Afghanistan didn't happen until the KP Pashtuns got in bed with their Panjabi friends and planned out the destruction of Afghanistan.

The problem is the Pashtuns are tribal. Tribal societies refuse any centralized administration. This is the reason that FATA is administered differently than the rest of KP. Pakistan's plan is to slowly integrate the people of FATA into the nation of Pakistan.

I have only met one Pashtun from KP in my whole life that actually knew how to write pashto and he told me he learned it from a mullah at his local mosque. There is no Pakistani institutions that teach or advance pashto literature. They actually have enforced policy to destroy Pashto because of their fear of pashtun nationalism. The destruction of pashto is institutionalized in pakistan. This type of institutionalization to destroy pashtun culture does not exist in Afghanistan. In Afghanistan there has been many attempts to advance pashto but the single biggest obstacle is that farsi literature is too vast and advanced in scientific literature and poetic literature and pashto literature is just a drop in the ocean when you compare it to farsi literature. The reason that English is slowly taking over urdu and hindi in Pakistan and India is because English literature is too vast. You could find any information you want about anything you want in English so people are going to be naturally drawn to it because people naturally hunger for access to information.

If pashtuns can organize themselves to translate farsi literature and English literature to Pashto, what will happen is that people hungry for information can now access it in pashto so pashtuns will not be forced to learn another language to just have access to information, what will also happen is that farsiwan, panjabis, etc would want to learn pashto just to have access to information.

English is so far ahead of every other language that when French leader Sarkozy heard that Google was planning to scan every book ever published in English, he complained that in a couple of hundred years the french language would become just a hobby for French speakers because in order for the French to have access to information, they would be forced to learn English.

Stop pointing fingers, as far as Pashto literature is concerned, Afghanistan is far more advanced than KP.

I have many cousins that were born and raised in peshawar and none of them know how to write in pasho(only english and urdu) and my cousins that grew up in Afghanistan all know how to write in pashto.

Wrora there are many steps taken by kpk govt and federal govt to promote pashtu. NUML University is doing a great job. Pashtu is also being taught in KPK. But I think one more step KPK got should take. All studies other than languages (urdu, english arabic etc) must be compulsory to taught in pashtu. Thats my dream.

nope he was killed because jinnah & gang made khyber pakhtunkhwa a leased not owned land to british for like 93 or 100 years after which the land would have to be returned back to afghanistan that leased had expired on 1993 & pakistan yet has not returned it to its original country afghanistan but instead mr.jinna made a leased land & turned it into a province of his country as if the land belonged to his father now that's unethical & injustice plain & simple which liaqat ali khan supported like hand in gloves & as for mr.jinna well mr.jinna not only harmed the muslim of indian subcontinent by dividing them in to three separate countries india/pakistan/bangladesh which only made the hindus stronger & the muslims weaker think rationally if partition would not had taken place the muslims would have been much more in number & thus would have been stronger in position then the present so mr. jinna it seems being a muslim as he claimed has harmed only the muslims from afghanistan to kyber pakhtunkhwa to baluchistan to indian muslims to bangladeshi muslims ( 1971) & instead has benefitted the british & the hindus & made them stronger now that's what i call a "two face" person
